  • awsome

  • Nice video but how much And do u say per minute?

  • Does not surprise me that it sat up so long and ran. Is this one for sale?

  • IN eastern NC two army truck parts dealers scrapped all of the gas M35's that they had. I bought one gas M35 former tank truck and plan to restore it. My father bought a 53 M35 gas in 1965 and built a heavy boom truck on it which I still have and drove lots during and after high school. Anybody in these trucks locally have forgotten the Gas model or don't want it. The one in your video has a carb that I am unfamiliar with . Mine has a holley elbow (right angle version)

  • @magicbrainman hey they let you drive them to high school cause my mom said they wouldnt like it im in the process of buying one

  • красава!!!

  • Purrs like a kitten.

  • That is a different carb than I remember on this engine, May not be the original, but if it works ok I would keep it anyway.

  • Yeah, I would burn up 50 gallons of mogas a day in one of these. Nice truck you have there. Nice sounding engine too. There is an exhaust pipe extention that fits on the tail pipe that makes them run more quiet. Lots of under steer, but fantastic brakes. The only thing I would add would be the chain and pad lock through the steering wheel.

  • if you ever sell it i think i know someone who may have it

  • great

  • nice truck i worked on them in the 70's

  • whats the max speed on one of these

  • @cviewclipper 55 mph and 6 miles to the gallon

  • obviously amercan vehicles always start and run great if taken care of properly

  • Nice! My first project truck is going to be a '53 Studebaker M35 with the same engine. Now I'll know what it'll sound like when we get it running. Most of the videos I found of the M35 were all diesel or multi-fuel. Nice to get a good perspective of what I'll be dealing with!

  • i hope you put that air filter hose back on top of that carb before you drove it around. lol

but that was amazing how quick that fired up!!! how much HP is that straight six rated for?

  • that is deff. built to outlast every truck damn tahts nice

  • thats a real nice truck, like the headlights on the bottom, like the side exhaust, its a nice truck.

  • The headlights are on the bottom if it doesnt have a winch

  • not always true though just on the older models, the newer A2's are almost all "top headlighters"

  • so brent , tis would have to be my new favorite, even over the diamond t , sounds sweet!

  • isnt that a multi fuel motor that can run on gas or diesel?? thats wat i been readin on em

  • No this a first generation patol engine that runs on gas or even av-gas

  • hell that's sweet!

  • Thanks

  • awsome truck in awsome shape ORAH!!!

  • does it move?

  • yes it does

  • Very nice. I just bought one 72 with a turbo diesel just purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs with the whistler turbo. You got a nice truck there.

  • Thanks

  • amazing that thing will start after sitting so long

  • Very nice truck , quite amazing to hear it start that fast after it`s been sitting for so long

  • wow thats amazing how fast it started after 10 years. what is the displacement on that motor?

  • That is one well built truck! If only trucks today had that quality.

  • cool cool.. looks like something you would see on a military base or army base

  • that's a very nice truck.

  • Why don't you start that silver dodge pickup?

  • wow, look up a canadian forces MLVW, becides the tires, engine, and clutch, theres almost absolutly no change, and our mlvw's were made in the mid 80's

  • outstanding, thanks for sharing your video. This is great

  • This is the first generation m35's,with the patrol engine.Great stuff.I own a 67 with multifuel engine(whistler)
