@alisha1890 Actually read Cherie's Memoir "Neon Angel" The drug problem was kind of the "last straw" she was already having problems with Kim and the other girls in the band and had a lot of problems at home. By getting into the Runaways and becoming famous she unknowingly bit off way more than she could chew. The band was falling apart at the seams. Drug problem or not she would probably have left the band eventually.

@Etherialshroud So, she was a bitch because she had the foresight/understanding for what direction the band should have gone in??? As much as I like Joan, Lita was right and Joan was wrong. What's the old adage? "One can't see the forest through the trees". Lita better understood what direction the world was going in musically, and punk was on the steep decline. If we're talking about the early years, then Cherie was the problem, and it's called drug addiction!
