  • Meh. It's a great 1st view, but like many 'punchline' episodes, it wanes in appeal after multiple viewings.

  • the transformation scene! THANK YOU

  • You can't keep a good man down.

  • the orginal story did show him as the devil,, he get a letter from the monks say the capture him again, adn everthing was now o k/

  • hahaha foool

  • you suck shut up

  • CAN I GET THIS FULL NOWHERE?

  • I think it would have been more sinister and dramatic had the guy been offscreen while his shadow slowly took on the form of a demon.

  • was the devil the same guy that played the thing that couldn't die?

in some way this episode reminds me of the film THE MAZE.

  • This episode scared me silly when I was a kid. I had nightmares for years. Too bad they cut the last scene. The original showed his feet turning into cloven hooves.

  • speak for yourself first thing i EVER saw in 2006 and it still scares the bejeebers out of me

  • The actor playing "The Devil" was in the original "Mame". Good lookin' guy from Argentina.

  • Very good looking! Handsome devil, ha!

  • cool move. where's the rest of it.

  • When will someone post this whole episode?

  • They have done, but youtube eventually pulls it down an closes their channel, hence why iv not done it myself

  • This is one of my favorite scenes in all the twilight zones. Something about the music and the tranformation into the devil. It's hard to see in this clip, but right at 1:00 they do something with the lighting on his face that makes him look menacing. really cool. He looks like such a badass as he's walking past the pillars (except the little horns lol)

  • I love it !!!

I wish I could view the entire series of this episode.

  • one of the top 5 episodes in my opinion

  • I think that H.M Wynant the man that plays david has african american ancestry. In black and white he looks very brotherish.

  • Too awesome, one of my faves!

  • my fav!

  • One of the BEST Twilight Zones!

  • The music under the transformation sequence {at :55} was composed by Bernard Herrmann, and originally intended to be used as the series' theme for the second season; however, Marius Constant's theme was used instead...

  • Anyone else notice how Satan's nose got bigger as he escaped the cell? The director must be prejudiced against big nosed people.

  • my gosh that episode REALLY creeps me out!!

  • this is so weird

  • OMG, that's the cheeziest looking devil I've ever seen, LOL!!

  • OMG, that's the cheeziest looking devil I've ever seen, LOL!!

  • dude it was the 50's.
