then once you kill said bad guy, you become king and then assasins come after you, you kill them and there owner THEN once more, another bad guy comes, kills your family and friends, burns your village and all of this happens under 400 hours of game play!
This sounds like a city management game. You become king and raise taxes and shit, then have little princes and princesses who I'm guessing will succeed you. Reading the 1up article kind of makes it seem like "The Sims: Royalty Edition"

There was nothing to really do after you beat Fable 1 though. You got a sword but at that point I just wanted to restart the game because there was nothing to do once I finished the main quest other than kill random bandits or go on murdering sprees which aren't very fun when the guards die in one hit.
i can't wait for fable 3 to come out. It is gonna be awesome!!! (((hopefully))) although fable 2 had some good points the ending absolutely sucked but i hope you still get a dog. oh and meaty chud it is your son or daughter that is the heroof the new fable.

So I'm assuming that your character in Fable 2 dies and your Son/Daughter is the new hero because in the DLC see into the future the last cut scene shows your hero walking down the isle of the throne room and Theresa shows your Son/daughter saying that this is a new hero or something.
Too much bars and shit over all of Fable 2, took away allot of the "feeling", felt like a big playground too me more than a fairytale like Zelda. Zelda kicks Fables ass all days of every week but all of the Fable games was worth a playthrough. Hope this is too.

Fable 1 was fucking amazing! It was difficult at times and it was very expansive. Fable two was kinda a letdown. The graphics were great, same with the weapons and pretty much everything else, but it was extremely short and there was no end boss! NONE! but I'm still going to get 3. To me it looks like it is going to take place around the time of natives and european explorers.
i heard that theres gonna be new will powers in fable 3 and you take the role as the hero of bower lake son/dauhter and to all people who think you start off as a king you don't if you go on gamespot it says you start off as a child then you become a hero and the main bad dude is a evil ruler and you must over throw him and when you become king you still kick some ass and travel to places and peter sayed the gameplay is 100 times better than fable 2 you will not be a total letdown trust me

Which of the Fables that are out right now is the best. Well, this is just my opinion but I like Fable 1 a lot more. More choices, more fun quests, more spells, the need to use mana potion, armors, mini-map and pretty much everything was delivered better. Fable 2 the glowing trail made the game way too easy and I didn't feel the love for the dog at all that Peter said I would be feeling. In fact it got really annoying fast. I hope Fable 3 will be more like Fable 1 than Fable 2.
I agree fable 1 was a lot more fun but why expect to love the dog, your being told to love it by the same man who expected you to develop personal attachment to your NPC spouse that had around 4 lines of dialouge
I enjoyed both games immensely and cannot wait to give Fable III a spin. Here's hoping the third can follow in the second's footsteps and make me cry.

fable 2 was awesome. the only thing i didnt like was there was no mulitplayer camera turning. i hated that. fable 3 is gunna be kick ass. my friend and i have played fable, fable lost chapters, fable 2:legndary edition, together. its gunna be great.
Fable 2 BLOWED. no armor, practically no spells (most were just remakes/combination's of fable 1 spells. Gee how creative.). Co-op is a joke. NPC voices are annoying and most sound like bad fake brit accents. Completely uninteresting story which for the most part was just the fable 1 story (and it was super short). DLC is pathetic (and a part in the STF add-on is just a remake of a fable 1 demon door). Practically the only "new" things were the dog and the gargoyles.
You forgot about see into the future, or whatever it's called. And the Lost Chapters can't be counted as another add-on to the series, it's just an expansion that adds armor and weapons
wow i hope they have better clothes in this one fable 2 had suckish clothes except the knight armor which i didnt like and i hope in this one you could see your children grow up to adults
Perhaps Fable 3 will have an open world this time, instead of large area, large load time, large area, large load time and so on. I'm really getting sick of Lionhead's games being a let down as well.
Plus I was expecting Fable 2 to have more of an emphasis on DLC instead of announcing a sequel less than a year after release.

They most likely made it to let us know; "Yes we're currently working on Fable 3". It's more or less used as just a heads up.
I Hope this time around there's more than 12 hours of gameplay... And I'm not just talking about the main questline. It was a total let down last year.

For all we know this could be great since they know what they did with the previous Fables's and opefully know how to expand know too. But ppl dont diss it until some real footage and info is released. BTW Fable 2 was one hell of a great game (my opinion) All it needed was a bit more free reign instead of sticking to paths.

Hell atleast Fable had a freaking badass boss at the end. and the difficulty lvl is STILL stupid and the magic system is way too slow. The class system still needs LOADS of work. Fable 2 still lacked depth and although it IS a great game Fable was better.

Which of the Fables that are out right now is the best. Well, this is just my opinion but I like Fable 1 a lot more. More choices, more fun quests, more spells, the need to use mana potion, armors, mini-map and pretty much everything was delivered better. Fable 2 the glowing trail made the game way too easy and I didn't feel the love for the dog at all that Peter said I would be feeling. In fact it got really annoying fast. I hope Fable 3 will be more like Fable 1 than Fable 2.

Fable 2 was a good game because of the side quests that actually changed the world...but it sucked balls because of all the things people below this comment said...and i agree with all of them...Fable was good though...the 1st one...great story and a lot of side quests and a shit load of spells and skills...im just gonna wait a good year after the third comes out because i dnt think its worth it when it comes out seeing how the second turned out

Hopefully it's a prequel to the first or something, 2 was lame as hell with clothes instead of armor, guns were gay, the xp was stupid, theres a glitch where if you make a new char you can max out all their attributes in about 5 minutes..please dont mess 3 up..

Fable 2 BLOWED. no armor, practically no spells (most were just remakes/combination's of fable 1 spells. Gee how creative.). Co-op is a joke. NPC voices are annoying and most sound like bad fake brit accents. Completely uninteresting story which for the most part was just the fable 1 story (and it was super short). DLC is pathetic (and a part in the STF add-on is just a remake of a fable 1 demon door). Practically the only "new" things were the dog and the gargoyles.

Perhaps Fable 3 will have an open world this time, instead of large area, large load time, large area, large load time and so on. I'm really getting sick of Lionhead's games being a let down as well.
Plus I was expecting Fable 2 to have more of an emphasis on DLC instead of announcing a sequel less than a year after release.
