Here's what happened: Wendy and everybody else die on the train. Wendy comes out of her vision. Screen goes black and everybody screams. Reason?: The same thing that she just saw in her head is happening. There would be no point in showing it again as the same thing would play out move for move.

Early reviews wanted everybody to die :-) So they reshot the ending killing everybody, at least they give you the impression off camera. It was a happy song for a lousy ending!!! Oh and yes, having worked at an amusement park for 4 years on a roller coaster{2 years on a steel coaster} what they showed in the crash, with the camera falling and landing on a lower track....never ever!!! I know it is only a movie!!

Also, from my experience, if a rider wants off the ride before it starts, YOU have to let them off.
