@jerbearrock i have knwo idea why they made all kinds of motors for this car but i did read somewhere that the reason why they did that was because they made so many of those cars until they ran out of motors so they had to use the 3.9 motors in some of the v6 mustangs cuz they ran out of the 3.8 motors my car is a 2004 and it still only came with a 3.8Lt. in it so ya see all the cars didnt get the 3.9 i wish mine had the 3.9 in it Lol.

Man i took the cats off my stingers today they sound good at low rpms and when i smash on the gas but at partial throttle between 2.5-4.0k rpms pure weedwacker ima try to weld in some 18" dynomax bullets. Ima have to get a stroker for this charger after i get my heads/cam in sept. It sounds like ass right now hopefully the bullets will help. I guess the .3L more displacement your car has really helps
Did you always run cats when you did the exhaust or did you remove them afterwards. I just bought stingers on my v6 charger and they dont sound as good. I know its .3 L less but damn im thinking about removing my cats.
@dejuan71 when i first got the exhaust i had all the cats on but then the car wasnt loud enough for me so i had the cats removed and then it sounded way louder and much better and i think i gained more tourq after doing that
@everettemetoyer Ok i guess they just needed to break in a bit. I let my girl drive it and it sounds really deep. These are definately the best mufflers for v6 cars in my opinion. I'll post sound clips. Have you done anything new to it? Or you working on that gt?
@dejuan71 well all ive done to the v6 lately is put some projecter headlights on it with some corbon fiber tail lights on the back and glow gages in the dash but ive been really working on the GT i screwed up my rear end on the GT at the track so the GT is down for now aint that a bitch!!!!!!!
Hey dude i have been recently watching some videos on the V6 mustang because i to have one, i use to envy those who have that GT also until i have been watching videos on the 3.8 v6 and since then I am now realizing that the V6 is a badass engine and i dont need the 4.6 and or 5.0 liter to get what i want. I want to know what you think about boring a v6, if u think it can handle it, not something major, but something to make it different and have more power.

I used to work at sears and sell them all the time, but "real" shelbys (even though yours say shelby too just made by american racing) are only available through ford or found on shelby mustangs and dont say special edition on them(of course you can get them through other places) not hatin just stating facts

I got to admit that that's a pretty nice v6 you got there. I have an 04 GT and it seems like you are a couple of steps ahead of me. I recently install a set of borla stingers which u can see in my videos. my next purchase will lower the car and then the wheels just like yours. I am still not convince that Shelby sells those wheels but that's just coming from a guy who knows that wheel hubcaps can be replace with anything u want. that's a sweet ride and it sounds nice unlike many v6s i heard.

it cost me $80 to have it done at the muffler shop they cut the old ones off and replaced them with strate pipe and they drilled holes in them so the could remount the o2sensers
did you get your springs from a specific dealer? How did you do the filter on the valve cover, that was nice cleans up that annoying hose. Some black out tail light tint would go nice with those wheels but thats just my opinion its a very nice car. sounds sick

i did a k&n cold air intake stright pipe single exhaust (getting duels probley magnaflow) and a sctlivewire chip/tune. The sctlivewire has a lot of features like 0-60, 1/4mile,hp/tq and more alot more.
You are not pushing anywhere near that at the wheels with those mods you mentioned. You guys need to seriously stop pretending like you know what you're talking about.

Hi and thanks for watching my video as for the wing on my car it didnt come with one and i think it looks cool that way.I believe all the 40'th anniversary mustangs didnt come with one.But you can take the wing off just unbolt hte wing and you can plug up the holes with some plastic plugs you can find at any auto part store
The car looks great ! but i am not gonna lie, i don't know if its the video quality or not but the exhaust kinda sounds like ricers fart pipe. but then again it could be because its the V6 with a dual pipe? but other than that great looking mustang and good choice on the springs, i went with 2inch on my stang.

from 350 to 400 dollars.. they reallly do work and it wakes up you car alot more and it can improve your gas mileage depending on what tune you select. WIth your exhaust and intake that would be the perfect combo right thier.. its the best mod u can spend money wise.. u take care and keep making great vids

so a 40 hp increase with the intake and exhaust? you cant even get that kind of gain on a v8 mustang. Can you put up the dyno? Not calling you out, ive just never seen any increase like this on any v6 mustang after spending countless hours on the MustangForums when i had my v6
i just had one done but it was just one pull it made 152 hp @the wheels and 210 foot pound tourq but that was with out getting it tuned so right now its getting 218HP at the crank
manual mustangs get a 15% drivetrain loss. so if you have 152 at the wheels then your making about 179hp at the crank, nowhere close to 220hp. Now how you managed to get less horsepower with an intake,exhaust and pullies even without a tune baffles me.
yes i took it to the track 1 time and it ran a 14.8 at 94MPH then it ran a 15.6 at 92MPH but that because i didnt cut a good light time timing the green light is really tricky so your car can be fast but seem to be slow with track times so i gotta get better with lounching on the line

no i really gained more power because taking the cats off relieved my car of all restrictions as for as air flow now the mufflers give my car just the right amount of backpressure that the motor needs to perform well but these are BORLA mufflers now flowmasters may not work as well in this case because every muffler is not made the same so backpressure can be differant with every style of exhaust system but i did'nt loose any HP and i did get extra tourq out of my car from taking off the cats

it cost me $80 to have it done at the muffler shop they cut the old ones off and replaced them with strate pipe and they drilled holes in them so the could remount the o2sensers

did you get your springs from a specific dealer? How did you do the filter on the valve cover, that was nice cleans up that annoying hose. Some black out tail light tint would go nice with those wheels but thats just my opinion its a very nice car. sounds sick

Man you're a real dude i respect your grind. If you ain't got haters then you ain't really doing nothing the way i see it. I own a v6 too but its a charger i got crappy flows but im thinking about running the stingers too. I gotta ask you though on the stingers. I've always thought they were the round mufflers s-style yours look like the oval mufflers. Im not hating by no means i'm just trying to get the right ones. I was told they were the s-style.

i did a k&n cold air intake stright pipe single exhaust (getting duels probley magnaflow) and a sctlivewire chip/tune. The sctlivewire has a lot of features like 0-60, 1/4mile,hp/tq and more alot more.

Hi and thanks for watching my video as for the wing on my car it didnt come with one and i think it looks cool that way.I believe all the 40'th anniversary mustangs didnt come with one.But you can take the wing off just unbolt hte wing and you can plug up the holes with some plastic plugs you can find at any auto part store

The car looks great ! but i am not gonna lie, i don't know if its the video quality or not but the exhaust kinda sounds like ricers fart pipe. but then again it could be because its the V6 with a dual pipe? but other than that great looking mustang and good choice on the springs, i went with 2inch on my stang.

from 350 to 400 dollars.. they reallly do work and it wakes up you car alot more and it can improve your gas mileage depending on what tune you select. WIth your exhaust and intake that would be the perfect combo right thier.. its the best mod u can spend money wise.. u take care and keep making great vids

no havent moved yet i was at my parents house when making this video my dad has a much better camera than i do Lol. and his video program is very nice so i used his equipment.I wanted everybody to be able to hear the exhaust sounds much better than before on all of my old videos hope i did a good job on this one

5 stars nice lookin mustang. I have a 2000 mustang V6. if u had cats do u think u can run the same 1/4 mile as no cats. I got borla mufflers too but i got cats cause it' california thing. anyhow nice stang very nice rims 5 stars.

hey thanks for the 5star rating and as for the cats getting rid of those will ad more power and tourq because they stop the exhaust from flowing out freely but if your going to keep the cats on then you should buy free flowing peformance cats they have a lesser restricted air flow tube inside so that way you dont loose much HP thanks for the comments to

so a 40 hp increase with the intake and exhaust? you cant even get that kind of gain on a v8 mustang. Can you put up the dyno? Not calling you out, ive just never seen any increase like this on any v6 mustang after spending countless hours on the MustangForums when i had my v6

i just had one done but it was just one pull it made 152 hp @the wheels and 210 foot pound tourq but that was with out getting it tuned so right now its getting 218HP at the crank

manual mustangs get a 15% drivetrain loss. so if you have 152 at the wheels then your making about 179hp at the crank, nowhere close to 220hp. Now how you managed to get less horsepower with an intake,exhaust and pullies even without a tune baffles me.

yes i took it to the track 1 time and it ran a 14.8 at 94MPH then it ran a 15.6 at 92MPH but that because i didnt cut a good light time timing the green light is really tricky so your car can be fast but seem to be slow with track times so i gotta get better with lounching on the line

thanks for the comment first thing i would do is put an exhaust on the car then add a cold air intake then some under drive pullys and go with some racing springs just take your time you dont have to get all these things at once this is just the order in witch i put my car together over time

Damn i love this car it sounds so great. i hate the fact that there all these haters talking smack bout v6's and that theyre useless. This car is a v6 perfection. props on having such a great ride. i have an 03 v6 myself and i wish it could sound as great as this one.

no i really gained more power because taking the cats off relieved my car of all restrictions as for as air flow now the mufflers give my car just the right amount of backpressure that the motor needs to perform well but these are BORLA mufflers now flowmasters may not work as well in this case because every muffler is not made the same so backpressure can be differant with every style of exhaust system but i did'nt loose any HP and i did get extra tourq out of my car from taking off the cats

But yea ive done a couple of videos also, they are pretty fun. And have you ever thought of retuning the computor? I hear you get alot of power from that.

thanks man well as for having the cats removed it didnt stop me from getting my inspection sticker first rule you never tell them you dont have cats on your car then they wont know to check for that second, the car is a v6 so its not going to sound too loud while in idle now if you have a v8 they may be able to tell cuz they are really loud with out the cats on those cars so you should be ok and you should pass inspection thanks for watching
