@BeatlesFan1118 Ringo is in no way a joke. A lot of his parts may not have been insanely complicated, but he could play them nearly perfectly, and get a very clean sound. Plus, he has to use very little effort, which shows how fast he can play.

A good drummer doesn't have to have very complicated parts,consisting of 16th notes, played at insanely high speeds and complicated fills, to be a good drummer.

@BeatlesFan1118 I've heard the Beatles early stuff without Ringo, and I think it wasn't as good as with Ringo. Pete Best, was, let's just say, not the best drummer for them (no pun intendid). Ringo is a very good drummer, and is a part of the Beatles, just like all of them. He fits in good with them (gives them a not average name XD) and if you don't like him, I don't think you can like the Beatles, he is a big part. I'm not trying to fight, but that is my opinion.

If you read the book "Who were the beatles" Their Child hood was Extremely Interesting,

There was a "stu" and others and they looked for 4 drummers as kids, but only got one, Obviously my memory isnt as keen, this was several weeks ago when i read the book, but search your school/Public Library and search for "who were the beatles" and read it, you will be quite amazed with their history, over 6 people were turned down the band as kids, let alone 1-3 were kicked out!

If that is what the book tells you it isn't detailed enough, if you're anywhere as near as big as of a Beatles fan, I suggest "Shout!" by Philip Norman. It has all the details!!! It also has other people's point of view and quotes from pre-Beatles, family members, people they met on their way to fame.
