Are the Dyson washing machine still sold? I saw them some years ago for a brief time in the shops

Sadly they are no longer made.

They were produced from 2000 until production ceased in 2004.

Did u see that slight half turn it did just before it went into drain? I wondered if u noticed it. The machine should have sat still and NOT moved while draining.

I watched the video and that movement you are referring to is the gearbox disengaging the Contrarotation. The two drums lock together and remain locked during the rinses. The Contrarotation is used briefly again at the end of the final spin cycle to fluff the laundry however my Camera battery went flat so unfortunately the final spin was not recorded.

Ok. Thanks very much indeed for that. This washmaschine is very interesting to watch! The contrarotation acts as an anti crease at the end of the final spin then. Maybe u will record a final spin in this machine one day please. Thanks very much.

Can you record the duvet program??

i remember when these came out-they were advertised as a double duvet washer-now nearly all washers on the market hold double Duvets.

Actually the Dyson can wash a King Size Duvet up to 15 Tog weight with ease. The Dyson's drum is significantly larger than the current range of 9Kg load machines the largest of which is the LG at 69 Litres volume, the rest are typically 60-65 Litres volume, the Dyson's drum is 78 Litres volume.

Yes the Dyson automatically adjusts the water levels cycle time and agitation according to the size of the wash load.
