I've been watching some of your videos for this game and it looks interesting do you recomend it for a silent hill fan or is it just for curiosity that maybe just rent it from a local store and then go from there?

Well, I don't know. But I really like the game. If you like combats on the previous SH, then I would say no because there's no fight in this game. You just run away, find the exit in the nightmare. If you like explore, it's recommended like what I do on Silent Hill Homecoming. The game varies too, depends on what your answers and what's you do while you play.
