Obviously the guitar doesnt have the sustain characteristics that the violin has, so the tempo is great for a guitar duet performance, cheers my friends!!
I am practicing the piece to play it on a piano guitar duet.
I will upload the video when we play as well as you do, saludos desde México.
Excellent playing!!! I usually don't like duets, and instead prefer to hear just one person playing, but this was done so tastefully, and a lot of good feeling was added by the second guitar. This is by far one of my favorite renditions of Air on the G String that I've ever heard... Good job to you and your brother!
Great played Paul! I know that viola guys will say "its a lack of sustains" thought myself, what a bad instrument guitar is to match viola . AsGoodAsItGetsVidas
How beautiful you played this! I am so envious of you two -- brothers -- making music so well together. Please know that what you have in your family is pure gold. It is not all brothers who are so in sync and harmony with each other.
Hey! If Franks guitar hadn't stuck out of the red background I would have thought this was a trickfilm!! You even look alike. And play sooooooooo well together.5 stars x 2. Hello Frank. Did you use to beat up Paul when you were a kid! LOL Well, Now you can play guitar together. NICE!! Thanks guys!
Frank is very, very good. Makes me sound very, very average!! Together we sound somewhere between the two!
A little more practice and we will re-post at a slower tempo and with some phrasing. This was the first time we have had a bash at this for many years. Hush!! He doesn't know I have I have put this up yet!
By the way, that Julie is a proper Poker Queen. I hate her!! :}
Beautiful! I have always wanted to play guitar, but I guess I'm just not committed enough to my lessons :D

Thanks a lot Max.
It has to be a little bit quicker on guitar because the guitar only has half the sustain of a cello. But I do agree, it is a bit too jaunty!!

Slip him a Rum and Coke.
The best way to play it as slow as you can til it's on the verge of dragging...then you got something!

Excellently composed. It is inspirational.

Thank you. It is an arrangement by Ivor Mairants.
However, we are both over 40 years old! The 14/15 year olds playing Romanza are truly inspirational. Thanks for posting them.
