  • Beautiful! I have always wanted to play guitar, but I guess I'm just not committed enough to my lessons :D

  • I love it.. Great job.

  • beautifly played. i think the speed is just fine or guitar

  • Cheers Jacky.

    Thanks for watching.

  • maybe a little fast for some people but i really like your version. I had this played on my wedding day and this brings back some great memorys.

    Thanks for posting

    Max

  • Thanks a lot Max.

It has to be a little bit quicker on guitar because the guitar only has half the sustain of a cello. But I do agree, it is a bit too jaunty!!

    Cheers,

    Paul

  • very good, muy bueno gracias.

    thanks

  • Thanks G.

  • Agradable!

Obviously the guitar doesnt have the sustain characteristics that the violin has, so the tempo is great for a guitar duet performance, cheers my friends!!

I am practicing the piece to play it on a piano guitar duet.

I will upload the video when we play as well as you do, saludos desde México.

  • Thank you so much Sonique.

We look forward to the piano/guitar duet very much.

    Regards

    Frank n Paul

  • Bravo! :)

  • Thanks a lot Supagirl.

We are not too keen on the sound on this.

Nor have we yet to practice it again!!

    Regards,

    Paul n Frank

  • molto bravi. mi sono iscritto.

  • Thank you my friend, for watching.

    Paul

  • WHERE DO I GET THIS SHEET????

    PLEASE!

  • Not bad, though you're not playing together.

Tones does miss match! anyway, keep up practise and it will sounds better! =D

  • ¡¡¡¡MARAVILLOSO!!!!!

  • Grazias.

  • Could go slower still. Especially with two guitar filling out the sound.

  • I agree Rex. However, Frank likes to get it moving along.

    Cheers for watching.

    Paul

  • Slip him a Rum and Coke.

The best way to play it as slow as you can til it's on the verge of dragging...then you got something!

  • Excellently composed. It is inspirational.

  • Thank you. It is an arrangement by Ivor Mairants.

However, we are both over 40 years old! The 14/15 year olds playing Romanza are truly inspirational. Thanks for posting them.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • very nice, i also love your Mr bojangles version.

    gr Albert

  • Thanks a lot Albert.

  • great (as usual) but I feel the need to send you the money for a music stand. I never see one in any of the clips you post.

  • How dare you??

Frank has his music on an upturned drawer from my kitchen and I have mine on the sofa!

    A perfectly pro set up!!

    Cheers my friend.

    Paul.

  • Excellent playing!!! I usually don't like duets, and instead prefer to hear just one person playing, but this was done so tastefully, and a lot of good feeling was added by the second guitar. This is by far one of my favorite renditions of Air on the G String that I've ever heard... Good job to you and your brother!

  • Thanks very much Lockheed. Your very kind comment is really appreciated by the both of us.

    Regards,

    Frank & Paul.

  • I love the duet version. Adds more musical cornstarch to the mix if you will.

  • Musical cornstarch!!

Thats a new one on me!!

    Thanks for visiting Mike.

    Best Regards,

    Paul

  • Great played Paul! I know that viola guys will say "its a lack of sustains" thought myself, what a bad instrument guitar is to match viola . AsGoodAsItGetsVidas

  • Thanks Vidas. We might get a little bit more sustain if we sat closer to the mic!!

I know exactly what you mean though.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Brilliant ! It's wonderful when 2 brothers perfomes music together! 5 ***** again

  • Thanks very much Fabjan. An honour indeed from you sir!

    Regards,

    Paul

  • I am too young to be sir :-D

Thank you very much as you're so kind person sir Paul.

  • practicing is spelled with a c not an s but that was cool

  • I do aplogi(z)e!! Thank you you!!

    Regards,

    Paul n Frank

  • Hello Paul and Frank,

How beautiful you played this! I am so envious of you two -- brothers -- making music so well together. Please know that what you have in your family is pure gold. It is not all brothers who are so in sync and harmony with each other.

    With continued admiration,

    Paul

  • Thanks very much Paul....you should have seen us as kids!!!

    Kind Regards,

    Paul

  • great job ! thank you for the great music.

  • Thank you very much!! You appear to be a carbon copy of me!! I play chess, guitar and in my younger days did play a lot of basketball!!

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Belíssimo, Paul, it is very very beautiful! congratulations for you both.

  • Thank you Ovidio. We are not entirely happy with it yet...but really pleased with your kind comment.

    Take care Sir.

    Paul

  • An interpretation full of musicality. All the phrases are well articulated, the result is great.

    Congratulations

    Jorge

  • Hey, thanks a lot Jorge.

    Paul

  • More duos, please. You guys are excellent. What maker of guitars are you playing? Cheers, Don

  • Thanks a lot Don. Mine (Gangly1) is a 1967 Oscar Teller, model unknown. Frank's is a £30 car boot sale bargain!!

There will be more duets on the way shortly.

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Fantastic :-)

    It's beautiful!

  • Thanks sguitar. It is a bit rough around the edges but after a bit more practice we will re-post.

    Paul

  • Great job, guys! Really enjoyed listening.

    Regards,

    Gregory

  • Cheers Gregory.

    Grts Ben

  • Cheers Ben.

  • Que lindo!!!

  • Obrigado muito!

  • Paul I closed my eyes and listened.

Is it really Williams and Bream I asked my self ?

Naaaaaaa , but not a bad effort for a practice session. Bye the way who was the brilliant director of this movie ? Do you need an agent yet ????

  • Cheers John.

The director is a Mr D. V. Deecam!

  • Practising...!? Well that certainly was one nice session - Thanx for posting... - 5 stars ;o)

  • Thank you very much Prudentum.

If I don't look in awe of him...I should....he has the ability to make me sound much better than I am!

    Kindest regards,

    Paul

  • Hey! If Franks guitar hadn't stuck out of the red background I would have thought this was a trickfilm!! You even look alike. And play sooooooooo well together.5 stars x 2. Hello Frank. • Dear Mr. P,

You must indeed accept (and be happy with) the fact that jnclassicalguitarist is ... the anointed PQ!

    Good day/evening to you, Sir.

  • Beginners luck if ever I saw it.

    Enjoy your holiday.

    PK

  • That was really nice! Bravo for both of you!

    Regards Wilfried

You have Frank to thank for having all the Focus albums when I was a kid. He also loves your stuff. See the comment to Mike above this one.

  • Great!

You are turning pro day by day :)

    Regards,

    Himanshu

  • Hi Hims,

Frank is very, very good. Makes me sound very, very average!! Together we sound somewhere between the two!

A little more practice and we will re-post at a slower tempo and with some phrasing. This was the first time we have had a bash at this for many years. Hush!! He doesn't know I have I have put this up yet!

    By the way, that Julie is a proper Poker Queen. I hate her!! :}

    Regards,

    Paul

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Yes! Do it again! Very enjoyable.

    Regards,

    Linda
