Blizzard's games Warcraft (1994) and Starcraft (1998) both take inspiration from Warhammer (1983), and Warhammer 40,000 (1987) respectively.

World of Warcraft is a spin-off of a rip-off. Darksiders did not take inspiration from World of Warcraft. Rather they BOTH take inspiration from Warhammer.

it's similar to zelda as in you unlock new weapons, but the weapons are also used for solving puzzles, like grappling hook, giant shuriken, portal gun

yes there is puzzle solving and you ride beast. I loved the demo for the ps3 for me it was better than the gow 3 demo,and thats saying alot. If you have an 360 i would say download it on dec 24 and see for your self. dante inferno is a day one buy from me

If you're running WotLK at max settings, the character modeling, lighting, and texturing of the environments are similar to Darksiders. War himself does look a bit like Arthas. What the environments do, and how you play the game differ, but visually they are similar.
