i can see why you'd think that based solely on color but freshwater has a veluxe pearl finish and blue calm has the pro finish, so they really give off totally different effects.

Maybe it'd be good to use in a fresh summer look? It'd be awesome if you could do that, especially with summer breaks approaching for us in the UK :) I try not to wear too much makeup in the summer, at least not noticeable stuff... do a shimmery neutral tutorial with oranges or yellow or TAN.. I never realized how much I love tan pigment :)

i have tan pigment so i could definitely do that! honour is GREAT for a summer look, too, by the way. i definitely recommend it :) it's also good for going out at night and just adding an extra shimmer/highlight to the cheek bones for everyday looks. it's great!

I use gesso, as in the actual real painting stuff, for my canvases and it's pronouced like the word "gentleman" or "gem". As opposed to "goose" or "green".

if i'm using the shadestick as a base, then yes i do blend. you can see i did with the shimmersand. :) when using as a liner, though, no, i don't... except for the line JUST A BIT between the blue & red.. i didn't want it to be purple, or overblended, i just didn't want it to be an incredibly harsh line.
