1) A dogs mouth is far more cleaner than that of a man that just brushed his teeth and washed his mouth with bleach. That's why you should allow a dog to lick cuts and wounds, so that it can be cleaned effectively.

2) Exposing a child to such unharmful things like bein licked by a dog helps to boost its immune system.
