if you also like the more gloomy kind of ambient, check out biosphere/deathprod collaboration "nordheim transformed". exquisite interpretations of Arne Nordheim's electric works (norwegian composer). i saw that live and it blew me far far away. kind of dark and mystical, effin brilliant.

The track's in fact Kobresia, from the same album. The oceanic string washes and the radio broadcast sample are quite unmistakable.
