  • damn...that cat was a tough motherfucker...you have to have respect for an animal like that

  • @manifestgtr yeah she was tough.

  • is this set legal in nb?

  • @forestrytech Yes, this set is legal in New Brunswick, Canada until Dec. 31st. Then no conibears for bobcats. NB has no restrictions on conibears on the ground and I LOVE using them for bobcats. They bump the trigger with there shoulders and one leg through, instant death with the Belliesle 330.

  • check ur hocks mske sure there not to tight and stay on that well

  • my grandfather caught a bobcat and another bobcat ate it last year

  • I have never seen anything survive a 330. Wow!

  • @MBJB07 First for me also...LOL Usually suitcased for carrying in the 330.. Thanks for watching

  • @nbguide how do you make a cubby like that?

  • @suferwill808 I just find a spot with 3 trees. I then cut a small tree 2" diameter and wire pieces horizontal and across the roof. I then take fir boughs and weave them around the roof, sides, and back to close up the cubby. Then put the trap in place and close in around the trap leaving the best way in to the bait is through the trap opening.

  • @nbguide instead of wire, do you think nails would work fine?

  • @MrSummersj Nails would be fine.

  • @nbguide ok. im in kansas in the united states and i can only use 220 conibears with this set. i hear they work just fine on bobcat

  • @nbguide would the 220 work preety well you think? or would i be better of making a bubby with a foothold in front of it?

  • @MrSummersj 220 should be fine. A foothold in front of the cubby will work also. You've got some nice cats in Kansas. Good luck and let me know how you make out

  • @nbguide ok sounds good, and i will let you know how i did torward the end of my season in januyary or so

  • @nixon5644 notice we all ignored you and you'r ignorant self you don't like it then why did you come here and he's not fat like you sit on a computer and troll. Hunting and Trapping has been passed down for centuries and I can gurantee your Ancestors did it. The government have laws that we obey and it controls disease, keeps the food chain abd population in check, and since all legal hunters care about the enviroment we make new habitats for them.

  • 330's are allowed on dry land there?

    must be nice

  • @79Testo It is nice to be able to put 330's on the ground. Just need to use some common sense where you place them.

  • I can't believe the number of antis commenting on your videos when they don,t even know what they are talking about.

  • @DrJellydude

    no need for that bro

  • @79Testo what the fuck are you talking about you jackass?

  • there a a few bobcats on bluffs around my house. i was thinking about using a cubby like yours but with coon meat. what type of lure did you use?

  • That was a big coon you caught...looked like a 30 pounder!

Must have been a bore too it was wearing that 330 full.

    nice job

  • It never seizes to amaze me how soft most people have become just because a little bit of technology came along and helped out our existance. less than 100 years ago the mass majority hunted, fished, trapped and etc. for their livliehood. What kind of nerve do you people think you have to tell me that I cant carry on these traditions??! I dont care what you do, so dont bother me, and try to say that my lifestyle is wrong!!

  • nice vid i cant catch any bobcat were i trap in southwest kansas so i mostly catch coons and coyotes

  • THIS IS CRUEL. grow up.

  • @vallonia no its not its humane so shut the fuck up u tard

  • @TheGunny1980 FUCK OFF TWAT FACE you cant help being the way you are .....Gay.. ha ha ha ha

  • @vallonia

    It is not cruel!

The Goverment regualtes trapping and sets quotas. Traping keeps the populations in check, prevents disease and allows the species to thrive.

  • @vallonia Grow up? Trapping has been around for centuries. Trappers and trapping does not simply grow up. It's a tradition passed down from our ancestors. If you don't like them, don't watch trapping videos.

  • well no luck yet with the gusto for fox, but fisher/bobcat season comes in on dec. 18th so maybe it will work then. keep the vids comin, thier great.

  • Again, great vids. Hope you add some from the '10 season. Gusto is a great lure on the k9 line and of course the fisher and marten too.

  • 7 people need put in a conibear lol.

  • @nathanteamgreen

come do it then tough guy!

  • hey thanks alot you really helped me out alot. good luck trapping and keep the vids comin!

  • have you ever had any luck with fox with the gusto?

  • @nathanteamgreen Yes I have. When I do a cubby for bobcats I also set snares on trails around the cubby. I usually catch red fox in these snares. The gusto will draw in coyotes, red fox, bobcats, fishers, and pine marten.

  • hey thanks, now in the cold, do you put that gusto on a limb or in the cubby? and if i was using a dirt hole set should i throw it in the hole with bait and put it on a limb or should i just use it in the hole by its self in the cold? thanks alot and gotta love the vid.

  • @nathanteamgreen Put the gusto on a limb about 4 feet off the ground. The gusto is a long distance call lure. When they get that close they'll find the bait and set. Good luck

  • Your head should be put in a conibear trap.

  • hey im sort of new to trapping. how do you recomend killing a live bobcat

  • @Ranger115gamer watch bobcat snaring new brunswick #1...

  • @Ranger115gamer I am looking forward to the "bare hands" video as promised by nbguide

  • @pjdickens you just want me to kill another bobcat. admit it..LOL

  • hey um im tryin to get a bob cat this decemeber or winter, i was wondering everything you use, or what i could do, like the wing from a string, or like lure or bait that they can smell in freeeezing temps. only have a 2 week season so everything you know that could help me be successful with be very appreciated. thanks

and ppl on here that bitch about this. DONT WATCH IT IF ITS SUCH A PROBLEM!!!! and leave us trappers alone, cuz we have a trapping lisence.. so.. f off.

  • @nathanteamgreen Hey Man, The main thing is be where there are bobcats. Dense forest, softwood, beaverdams are my #1 location. I use Cavens Gusto for a lure, really strong skunky smell and works well in the cold. I use a Grouse wing hung by fishing line for eye appeal. I use beaver meat for inside the cubby. They love beaver meat. Bobcats are not trap shy. Use a #3 foothold or 330 conibear for them. Good Luck

  • i would love u animal lovin fags to go trappin that would be a blast and scottithan its peaple like u that get shot by peaple for stealing and driving on feilds and crap. ur a glowing fag in the light house of stupidity.

  • disgusting.

  • @josevanreyes What is disgusting is a person like you that watches a "Bobcat trapping Video" and writes "disgusting" when done. Did the title of the video throw you off or can you read?? I noticed you watched all my bobcat videos and commented, have you any will power to not watch something your against or are you that weak minded and curious that you must watch??

  • @nbguide I'am a curious person no doubt about it.

  • NICE!!!!!!!!!

  • @killlerr2 You know it!!!!

  • NBG,

Do you use gusto for all your cat sets?

Again, I cant wait to try some cubby sets. Down in SC we primarily use foothold traps. Some of the traps have rubber lined and offset jaws...enables us to catch and release and sell live foxes to the fox farms (use live foxes to train dogs down here).

    Thanks for the vid

  • @Bushmallard I do use gusto at all cat sets. Strong smelling call lure. Good luck on your line this fall.

  • I wish I knew where trappers set their traps. I would destroy every one I found.

  • @scottithan You should become a trapper then you would know where to look..LOL LOL

  • @nbguide hahahaha if he was lucky enough the snare a bobcat or something i think the bobcat would come out on top

  • man thats pretty nice videos you got i will be trapping this fall for coyote, fox, coon, and bobcat to

  • I'm getting into trapping and I can't wait to snag my first cat. nice vid man

  • @bullridingmike Thanks and good luck on your line!!
