  • Could you not pop the insert out and put it in the original bronze casing? It sticks out like that, and I know my wife won't be happy with it.

  • @greenforce888 Yes, you can get inside inserts that will fit your original bronze casing....great idea! In my case, the little inside insert wouldn't fit the bronze casing. The hardware store should have something that will fit for you. Thanks for commenting! Joe :0

  • Those 2x2 natural stone slate tiles is what I got on my shower floor. Is it a good choice

  • @Boxer2six I can picture those tiles on your shower floor.....good call! Joe :0

  • Just to let everyone know there are 2 common thread sizes on the Aerator with a male and female thread on the inside and outside 55/64" and 15/16" there are a couple other sizes but are kinda rare nowadays. and the GPM go from 1.0 gpm to 2.5gpm just check the package and it will list all the important info on them.

  • @diggerdave51 Thank you for this additional information. It may come in handy for someone so thank you for sharing. I always like to hear from my viewers like you. Joe :0

  • @VideoJoeKnows Thanks, Joe i hope you don't think i was trying to be a smart A$% i work with the Aerators everyday and kinda know them pretty good and your video is realie helpful for those looking for a good Aerator.

  • @diggerdave51 I don't think that at all. I know you were just trying to assist me in giving out more information in regard to water saving tips. Incidentally, I have a question for you. A regular standard aerator that comes with a faucet....how much water put out is there? 2.5 gpm or...? This would be helpful for people to know, so they will know how "much" water they are saving if they installed a water saving aerator that was like 1 gallon per minute. Please comment back. Thank you. Joe :0

  • @VideoJoeKnows Thanks Joe. Now a days the regs on water usage all Faucets and shower heads are not allowed to be over 2.5 gpm. most of the better faucets Delta, Moen etc, will come with a 1.5 or better from the factory but they also sell "water savers" units that are as low as 1.0 gpm so just check the package and it will give you the info you need.

  • @diggerdave51 Thanks for giving us more water saving tips Digger Dave! Joe :0

  • @diggerdave51

my kichen faucet go with 3.18 GPM water flow , it very easy to know actual faucet water flow you have .

1 Take Coffe graduaded bol glasses , turn ON water on maximum , put the glasses bol down the water and count 10 seconds .

2 See how many cup of water have inside the bol after 10 seconds and convert this quantity in gallon and multiply results by 6

    ex. 6 US cups of water in 10 seconds = 0.375 US gallons x 6 = 2.25 GPM

  • @3DFULLHD Great information again Digger Dave! Now anyone can figure out how much water they could save by changing out their aerator to an energy saving one. Many thanks. Joe :0

  • I didn't even realize that aerators could help save water at all :) It just never occurred to me.

I really could have used the pliers and wash cloth tip when I changed my shower head .... it looks like crap.

    :P

  • @Joxman2k See all the things you are learning by watching my channel? Yes, water saving aerators can really cut down on the water use. Can you imagine if everyone in the entire U.S used the water saving aerators on all of their faucets? Drought?....what drought? Thanks for continuing to send me your questions & comments. I always like to hear from my viewers. Keep watching. Joe :0

  • @VideoJoeKnows

I do look forward to your videos. I actually gets me thinking of stuff that I've been meaning to do.

    :P

  • @Joxman2k I'm glad the videos are helping you with your "honey do" list of projects you've been meaning to do. If you don't see a particular video on something you were hoping I was going to show, let me know about it. Maybe I can make one for whatever it is you've been needing assistance with. I said "maybe" now.......if I'm in a position to do it, then I will. If not, then I will tell you that too. Thanks for continuing to watch my channel. Joe :0

My girlfriend wants her Fridge's ice maker to be connected to the kitchen sink area without breaking walls. I told her "I want you to make me a sandwich" ...so I don't have a sandwich. Can you help a brother out?

    :P

  • @Joxman2k I might be able to help you out with that. I currently do not have a refrigerator that needs to be connected to an ice maker via a kitchen sink but I could make up a video that kind of explains a few things that you need to know on "how" you can go about it. Thank you for sendiing me your request. Your wish is my command. Will start working on the video.....just for you. Joe :0

  • @VideoJoeKnows

    Thanks I appreciate that.

    :P

  • @Joxman2k No problem......I'll probably be able to work on it before the end of the week. I'll let you know when I have it ready to view. Joe :0

  • @Joxman2k I have that video ready for you to view re: hooking up a refrigerator ice maker to a kitchen sink. I made this video especially for you. Go to my YouTube channel & scroll down to "hooking up a refrigerator ice maker to a kitchen sink". Check it out & let me know if you have any other questions about your project. Thanks again.
