I said that there is a 4.3L 3UZ-FE V-8 Supra that can run early 6's... and the fucked up thing is, the car is only at 1154rwhp, out of its maximum 1473rwhp. So technically if they pushed it, they could have a 5 second Supra. The car is new and it still a work in progress for HKS. You'll see some 5 second passes soon I'm sure. They'll run 5 second 1/4 miles with LESS displacement than muscle cars

@OneBadZ0Sick not to start an argument, but as you see in my YT name, i love supras... but i have to say that i also like muscle cars, and i am no hater of them... but there is a supra or two that has done the quarter mile in the high 6's a consecutivlely and easily in the low 7's... ebrahim kanoo.. but the trap speed was lower than the car u mentioned.. both are beast engines, but the LSX has the advantage of the much larger enigine +2 cylinders... :)

@fallagbro LMR's camaro was sold. They wouldn't be the fastest anymore anyway. Paul Major went 7.11@204 in a turbo LSX vette. Supras are fast but they are at their limit. They can't really run the 114mm turbos that are out now. They need more displacement. That's why there is no replacement for displacement.

Not so much displacement, they need less weight. The Titan Supra is getting faster times as we speak and got a better time of 7.66. In the past two months the number of 7 second Supras doubled and 8 second Supras increased as well. Its all happening slowly but surely. Of course we can't get these motors to top fuel but we can show that we can accomplish with 6 that American Muscle accomplishes with 8.

@fengineer08 LOL I am at the track quite often, one of the top 5 tracks in the US. At the Old Bridge Township Raceway, in Englishtown, NJ. I've seen more 7-10 second car's than you can dream about kid. And trust me most of them are import's, not taking anything away from muscle as I like muscle as well.. But Import's are bigger at that scene than muscle.

So in other words, if the LMR Camaro running at 20 psi lined up with the HKS Supra running at 20 psi, the HKS Supra would win.

I'm a lawyer, I had 2 of my Supra's built by Titan Motorsport's (the car's are on their webpage in the Customer's Car's section). The 3rd one is just my Daily Driver, I sold one of my Supra's recently For $60,000, and bought a completely stock one and sent it to Titan to be built to the highest level (the progress is tracked on their website). That's what a good education does for you.

@fengineer08 LOL I never said anything about displacement, there is no replacement for displacement. I said that there is a 4.3L 3UZ-FE V-8 Supra that can run early 6's... and the fucked up thing is, the car is only at 1154rwhp, out of its maximum 1473rwhp. So technically if they pushed it, they could have a 5 second Supra. The car is new and it still a work in progress for HKS. You'll see some 5 second passes soon I'm sure. They'll run 5 second 1/4 miles with LESS displacement than muscle cars

That mistake doesn't even come close to the fact that the Supra did a fucking wheelie off the line and got a TERRIBLE start because of it. You are so retarded I swear to god, unlike muscle car's Supra's are not meant to handle a wheelie off the line, he had to let off the throttle completely to get the front end to come down before he could even start.

@OneBadZ0Sick not to start an argument, but as you see in my YT name, i love supras... but i have to say that i also like muscle cars, and i am no hater of them... but there is a supra or two that has done the quarter mile in the high 6's a consecutivlely and easily in the low 7's... ebrahim kanoo.. but the trap speed was lower than the car u mentioned.. both are beast engines, but the LSX has the advantage of the much larger enigine +2 cylinders... :)

@fallagbro LMR's camaro was sold. They wouldn't be the fastest anymore anyway. Paul Major went 7.11@204 in a turbo LSX vette. Supras are fast but they are at their limit. They can't really run the 114mm turbos that are out now. They need more displacement. That's why there is no replacement for displacement.

Not so much displacement, they need less weight. The Titan Supra is getting faster times as we speak and got a better time of 7.66. In the past two months the number of 7 second Supras doubled and 8 second Supras increased as well. Its all happening slowly but surely. Of course we can't get these motors to top fuel but we can show that we can accomplish with 6 that American Muscle accomplishes with 8.

no, the titan supra has never run as fast as LMR's best time. The LMR camaro let out of it when he thought the supra quit, then got back in it when the Titan Supra did too. It was a David vs Goliath race and the camaro was the Goliath.
