  • WOW! Very prophetic and enlightened, my friend. This reminds me of the platform that David Mitchell uses for his 'soapbox' Youtube videos. I love this kinda thing! I think you are spot on with this. I have been lamenting the death of English for quite some time now. I especially liked the comment about the disappearance of the fluctuation in pitch that determines excitement, or sarcasm. I find young people already being perplexed by my speech patterns because my voice changes pitch when excited.

  • @TheMinisterofDefence I like David Mitchell, his writing reminded me of how I like to write myself, thanks for that. :)

I've got the next installment coming up in a about 30 minutes should be interested.

  • 'Pert' is a good word, not often used in everyday speech though :)

  • @gpzDave I certainly don't use it. :)

  • Fascinating and entertaining stuff, Paul.

  • @jondavis1234 And very silly :)

  • Excellent explanation Professor! Was this a thesis that you had published? There is so much to digest, it will probably take me a week just to get through half of this.

  • @HandwhistlerBen No, none of it is published, that's why I've decided to make some videos from it. Much more to come...

    Thanks, Ben.

  • Some common old words still have their timeless meaning. They go unchanged but are played with.

Urban dictionary. Not a big of it but I understand its heading.

    Thanks for sharing. Subbed.
