In the 1906, the NAACP came into existence in response to a horrible race riot in Springfield, Illinois. The NAACP aimed to petition the government to grant civil rights protections to blacks. White people helped find the NAACP and the NAACP endorse women suffrage. Heard of Susan B. Anthony.
