  • If you're gonna quote Billy Madison, do it properly.

  • who?

  • try to play it with a pickup and fingers

    it sounds much better

  • cheater lol... its supposed to be hybrid picking XD

  • hybrid meaning, pick and pluck?

  • yeah... but its fine either way

  • -.-...

  • its outta sync you fucking idiots

  • fake

  • its a fake

  • Great playing

    congratulations!

  • whats wrong wid da vid

  • why doesnt he show his fingerwork?

  • TOTAL FAKE...

He is muting strings while he plays or should I say touches them. The low E string shows visible vibration on the lightest pluck. This is B.S. A Hoax just like his other videos

    His name should be BOZO6880

  • ha that's a dumb comment

it's just a huge delay thats all you can look at his picking at the beginning, it matches everything its just that there is a delay.

  • Total fake!!

I have been trying to play this properly for years (20 odd!) Well I say this version more like the original version which was written by Bert Jansch and called black waterside (released on an album called Jack orion in 1966 look it up I am sure its here somewhere) and old unlce Jimmy P just changed the title. Note for note it's almost exactly the same, not plajurisim just homage I am certain. JP is always excellent!

  • fake. dont say its not

  • its not fake, its just thatthe video and audio aren't lined up properly

  • Comment removed

  • its not

  • Can't see his other hand? You lot obviously don't play the guitar. It would be as hard to learn the picking and not the fingering as it would to do both - in fact no it would be harder and you'd go nuts.

  • its called fuckin lag dude holy shit try learning to not be retarded

  • Come on guys. He doesn't show the left hand because a friend is actually playing the other part on another guitar. This is also known as sleight of hand. You want to learn how to play this song go watch troubleclef's version.

  • Watching troubleclef's version is good advice, he is a superb player.

  • wouldnt he just film his friends hands and say they are his own in that case?? :S

i wouldnt especulate if i were you

  • you really playing this? Odd you don't show left hand

  • yeah, ya got me gar

  • pleease send me the tabs that was awsome

  • sorry don't have tabs

  • Can you please video both hands for us who want to learn from your excellence?

  • exelent song

  • ...very nice... very very nice...

  • good man i heard its a extremely hard song to play especialy pages'concert version

  • Nice one, man. We need more people with the heart and soul to play the good tunes and share. Keep it up. By the way, another good 'picker' is Bruce Cockburn (pronounced Ko Burn). Try his 'Foxglove'.

  • that's ridicoluous!!!! please stop with this s**t

  • what are you talking about dude?

  • Where did you find the tabs for this? I really wanna learn it...

  • I don't have any tabs, sorry

  • impressive

  • i love this song.

  • its really clean, but there's something odd about the pace--meaning it sounds like the song is cantering rather than galloping...I don't know if that makes sense. When I listen to Page play it, its a dark, almost mystical tune, but in your version it almost sounds like its funny. If that's not helpful then I apologize. It's still a very good version and better than I can do.

  • Thanks for the comment, I think I know what you mean, it's not quite as fluid as I would have liked. Of course, in the studio version Page had the tabla helping to keep things galloping along. And, well, he's Jimmy Page.

  • that may be true--mostly I'd say he's just Jimmy Page.

  • It would be nice to see both your hands on the guitar. It's great though.

  • its gud dude

  • Very well done. But why don't you show the neck too?

  • there's a bit of a pause with sound or the ound is slower than the video. other than that it is really good.

  • thats because its an avi file
