@ObiDanKinobi - Haha...well basically I am recording with NO gear in this one. I simply separated the audio from the video camera, added a bit of reverb/back up and then re-synced it lol...so that would be why this is terrible quality. Ive got adobe audition, and a good condenser mic etc...I just often don't have the time to sit down and get a good mix. Thanks for the advice though, you should check out my latest vid :-)

Fair doos man, I checked it out briefly, it sounded good tune wise, but the audio quality sounded a bit poor man. The slightly muffled sound suggests a low encoding rate (sub 100kbps i would guess) if you converted it somehow to put on youtube. Levels wise its way better. I shall have a listen and give ya some feedback on that page dude, for what its worth haha ;) Hope thats cool.

P.s reverb sounds good on this, but listening to a few of ya tunes you got so much white noise on there, it detracts from the whole tune. I'm guessing this is because you've recorded it on a small device, or unpowered mic, and then tried to post process it by cranking it up in volume on whatever editing program. Best bet would be to try and borrow some decent mics/power amp (preferably tubular dude ;) and get the best sound in possible in the first place.

i do sound stuff in my spare time, have done for the last 5 years or so, i love it haha. But yeah i don't want anything from ya. And unfortunately i dont live in oz so cant offer to help, but if you manage to get multiple tracks down or even a couple, if you want me to mix them down for ya, and if i manage to find somewhere to live in the near future, then i'll give ya a hand man, no cost, just a shame to see a potential not fulfilled is all. Meh give me a shout if ya want a hand anyways ;)

I would guess whoever did the mixdown on that tune was either the guitar player or the drummer right? You can hear ego's on that tune and not too much of ya actual singing dudette, thats not to say you need to be ego mcgee out on your own, but your way down in the mix on that man, you need to be more up there. Levels wise you could do with a bit of levelling, and generally some simple eqing/panning/levels. Wouldn't take much work man..just a thought for you anyways...haha and no im not wanting..

Has no-none you know got a copy of cubase a multi-track sound card and a few decent mics man? What about those dudes you recorded that nirvana cover with?

The mixdowns are limited by the gear your using really, for what your using your tunes are brilliant, but they need some work doing on the mixing process (especially that nirvana cover, way too much drum/guitar input..tbc
