She was born in Tuscaloosa and married a Yankee (**GASP!!**) from Pennsylvania who took her all over the world with the military, finally retiring in Nebraska in 1973. She never forgot her roots and flew her Alabama Crimson Tide flag on our house, and when she passed away in 2008, she was buried with that flag. I miss you, Nina Lee.
