hi thanks for gettin back to me, id love to get down unfortunatley im leaving for donegal for the wknd,i was in kells a few weeks back for the road racing great wknd love the place!

Yes it was! Back in the day, the room was not as large and there was no "Wee Bar"... The stage was larger.
By the way, Oliver will be at Kells tonight, with Steve Morris (Wednesday 8/13) Thursday, Friday & Saturday - after a 7 year absence!

I wish it was better too, but several factors: 1. They were shot in 1992 on VHS. 2. Then it was converted into a PAL copy. 3. Converting back into DV from that PAL copy was a nightmare - then into .mp4 - then the youtube conversion. I would love to have the original - but it's somewhere in Australia. Thanks for the post!

there`s a new machine out now that transfers
film from vhs onto blank dvd + rw disk,
i have one,go to my site and click on
newry memories that was vhs.
i think u did a better job than i did.

Thanks! Yeah, I have one sitting right next to me. I've had mixed luck with it - mainly due to not reading the instructions I suppose - but it does not do PAL - also the tracking would not do a good job. I use a DV deck and import into iMovie HD if I use VHS.
