  • @sstupidssmile i just wanna say not everything works for for everybody, for example people praise coconut oil , but my hair hates , it actually dries it up badly , so i use oilve oil , and shea butter , also has far as jbco oil , my hair hated it too lol so i bought the NOW FOODS castor oil , i swear my edges started growing back in days no lie and my edges were far worst than this gurl. use what works for u

  • Yay! They grew back! I was rooting for your edges throughout the entire video lol. Glad to see you got your hair back strong and healthy :)

  • @kecola Awwww thanks I am glad to see I got it back also..:-D

  • I grew my natural hair out to pass my shoulders over 4 years. I saw this style on Youtube called tree braids and I thought I try them. They were cute but when the girl took them down my edges went with them and my hair was thinned out all over. NEVER AGAIN! That was July and I am growing my hair out again. We need to stop abusing our hair.

  • @Nanadsyl Amen to that these styles ruin our hair!!!I am glad you notice and wanted to make a change.

  • please reply me back

  • so how long did it take u to notice the results

  • @triphealh77 Within the second week I started to notice.I am still using it.The jbco is my product for life. You should try it.

  • i lost the volume of my hair and the hair line and i have been really considering cutting the hair off totally and starting it all over again, seeing thiss video now however gave me some hope.... I have been using shea butter and olive oil for my hair.. What do u think is best; Cutting it and starting all over again, or just apply good hair products??? pls i need HELP/...... Thanks

  • Thank you for sharing please keep us updated on your results, with Emu Oil. Have a wonderful day.

  • were those extensions in your hair with the micro cornrows?

  • Yeah, when I used to wear mircro braids when I was younger, I took out my edges and never thought they would grow back but they did and grew back even thicker. You would never know I was bald on my sides now. What I did was just stop getting micro braids and relaxing my hair. I just let them grow back-----nothing special. And, now, I always get compliments on how thick they are.

  • You gave me inspiration! My hairline has gotten messed up from colouring my hair too much in the month of October. I'm relaxed, can doing the same thing work for me? Even if I plan on relaxing my hair in the next week or two (I'm 8 almost 9 weeks post and NEED to relax and put black rinse in my hair because I'm not dying ANYMORE)

  • lol help, am having d same problem with my hairline

  • Lol i thought this video was about how to grow you hair edges back! o well great song, so what did you do? ive tried everything! i don't even wear braid anymore!

  • What song is playing in the background

  • I know this is lyfe Jennings but what's the name of song

  • @asiajross honestly i am not sure but i think it is called cry

  • I hope it will work for me!!!!!

  • @zeebest09 yes i believe if it worked for me it will work for you as well

  • thanks for sharing

  • @michelle32209 anytime sweetie your wecome

  • I dothink there's anything wrong with the style that contributed to your breakage, i think it's the length of time you rock it. Maybe just get it 4 strictly special or one off occasion

  • @xeternity4evax i believe protective styling is amazing but my braids were way too small. I did not have the style in for too long because i started to loose my hair. Thanks for your honesty but in all honesty i did this to myself. Thank God it has grown back yayyy

  • @UnIqUeLiB i no so happy for you just trying to get mine going now did big chop..(like bald) last month its just my sides that are giving me grief wen i get a camera and stuff will be posting vvv soon x

  • heyyy uhh how long did it take and what happens if u use it and ur hair gets thick but than u shave it off will ur hairline look natural? answer asap plz :)

  • woow how did you get ur edges back??? please tell me ur regimee thank youu

  • type in cabodi in youtube search!!!

    its awesome!!

    it gives you hair!

  • @mastercross1 ok i will do just that thanks

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • @ieattofu68 your welcome:-)

  • Why did you do that to yourself. Hope things get better but it may never grow back properly

  • Your hair will grow as long as you keep it moisterized (dry brittle hair breaks off) and wear non-stressful styles (if you're going to wear extensions, make sure they aren't tight and pulling on your edges. SIMPLE.

  • @ShannaHairCare thanks for your advice moisture moisture moisture is the key

  • any1 know what this song is called???

  • wut ruined my edges??......2 words PUFFY_TWIST!! :(

  • That music made me laugh

  • Thanks you for this, bc my edges has been thin for years and I am ready to get it back

  • great job!!! thanks for the inspiration!!!

  • @Mzez2lookat aww your wecome sweetie

  • I have take pictures every year and keep them on the shlef of my closet but if I were ever to get back my edges and the left ide of my crown or just hafl of what I lost I would proudly show the world the pictures of my bald spots because I would feel so blessed. So tell me what I have to do because I am willing to try for a whole 6 months to a year for some growth! Bless you!

  • So I have been taking care of my hair underneath and wearing wigs since October 2007. Though I have not lost any more hair I have not given up on filling in my spotsand regrowing my left side. I want to try this regimen to see if it works for me. Do you leave the castor oil and emu oil in then wash it out a week later and reapply or what?

  • Oh my! I was searching all last night for a solutionto my problem. I was having Afrcan braiers do my hair. And they taje tehbaby hair and somehow make a braid out of that . It was straight synthetic air and it looked the bomb but I would find briads with follicles on my pillow in the morning . And long story short by the time I sod "No More!". it was too late. By 2007 my right side was3 times the size of yours with sideburns still there and left side 2 inches back.I have not given up though.

  • PERFECT SONG, LOVE. :)

  • @iloverette thanks hun

  • I just took out kinky twists and lost lots of edges :-( I have regular castor oil, and I may buy the emu oil and I recently bought vatika oil-hopefully they'll recover :-) thanks for making this vid!

  • Hey how long did it take for Ur edges to grow back?

  • I can't wait to start posting my videos on my chop as I said before to someone I have over 40 oil products. Jojoba, alvacado, almond, grapeseed, hemp oil, aragan, coconut, shea, coco etc. I took my linen closet out and made a beauty supply. I love my emu I have gallon. Soy oil good protein, olive oil restores shine, black castor oil helps to thinken the hair combined with emu oil opening up so it can go in it is great. emu oil, vitamin e and sheabutter is great stretch marks, hair, scars.

  • @charleneluvable i cant wait to see your videos. Oils are really great for alot of items but 40 thats alot.As long as it works for you hun.

  • love the hair style as well. the problem as you know it is not a protective style. A lot of people think that all types of braided styles are protective. Some are to small or to heavy for the hair which are breaking and damaging hair styles. I had noted that your hair still suffers from a lack of moisture and shine.Look for videos on it, you could speed up your growth process if you restore your hairs moisture.Remember emu oil opens up so that the other oils can go in. shea heals skin tissue

  • @charleneluvable i agree 100% some protective is not very protective one bit. You have alot of great info on oils. Thanks sooo much for the tips.

  • Emu oil is great. I can't wait to start posting my big chop video as well. My hair has been growing. I use emu oil with other oils. Emu oil helps also with burns, scars, stretch marks and more. Emu goes straight into the skin. So mixing it with other oils. For example if you want thick hair castor oil and emu oil mix. Eczma & hair conditioners emu oil & coconut oil mix. I have so many hair recipes another good one is the emu, shea and jojoba oil. I am a oil product junky over 40 oils

  • Hi, I see a couple of questions that have been posted but no response back on a few of them so i'll post some of them myself.

1st, when were those balding photos taken?

Were can I find this oil you speak of and how much does it cost?

How long did it take for your edges to grow back?

Will castor oil in and of itself do the trick or do we need to purchase both?

Your video says you want to help others in the same boat so PLEASE answer these few questions so we can look as good as you.

    Thanx.

  • @soaringsolo hey,When was those pics taken? Those pics were taking in Dec of 2010.Where can u find the oil and the cost?I use JBCO and emu oil,When i first tried out JBCO i brought it on amazon but now i find it at my local beauty supply store for the same price of $10.00 excluding the shipping. The emu oil I brought it at Vitamin Shoppe for $18.Will Cator oil do the trick? I dont know because i use both but maybe.Plz feel free to ask me as many questions as needed.

  • @UnIqUeLiB YOU SHOULD MAKE A VIDEO ANSWERING QUESTIONS .... THAT WOULD BE BETTER

  • @smartbooty at least we realize we needed a change...because edges are veryyyy important...i am glad to hear that it is working for you...be patient it will grow...just try and be consistent with it....Keep up the great work also:-D

  • I am using the same thing. It is slowly working I have always had thing edges but when they went bald I know I needed a change. I am using Emu oil its expensive but so was all those styles that took out my edges. I am also using Extra dark JBCO. I also dont get my edges braided anymore. Keep up the good work.

  • @glamorouspisces the process is still going on because i wnt them thicker but i've been using jbco and emu oil for about 2 months and seen fantastic results:-)

  • Ok those braids were slamming, but OMG your edges. I am going through the same thing now. I wear alot of yarn twist until I get length, but as my hair grows my edges leave. I ordered the jbco tonight. Thx for sharing your journey. I subbed.

  • @omgitsrubberducky i know right i would of went bald for real and that was just not happening to me so thats why i did the change...thanks hun

  • I'm glad you figured that out before you went entirely bald! :D

The styles did look very well done though!!! :)

  • @NayBesa i know right i was trying everything on them!!!Nothing worked but some jbco and emu are the best for my hair as of now....I am sticking to it no more tight hairstyles.....but girl you would never think for real caster oil but that magic WORKS!!!!

  • @ blackizbeautyful thanks cuzzo...i had to do something>We all need our edges it is very vital.Noooo Noooo Noooo your hair is swesome and very thick...Love the new video!!!

  • Wow Cuz,... you did a number on your edges. Very happy to see that you changed your "hair life" around. Your hair is so thick and awesome!!

  • ggiirrll im with u on those edges my edges are the whole reason why i even went natural lol. i started using castor oil on my edges and what do u know they came back. who would have thought with all those grow creams they have out there a simple oil like castor or the two you use would be what truly will grow your hair back
