Look how far inside he takes the club. That's about as unconventional as you can get; considering what we are told to do, which is taking the club back parallel on the back swing, Graeme's "inside" swing plane looks alot like Hogan. If it worked for Hogan and obviously for the 2010 US Open Champion, why not work for you?

he is really nice guy. I was following his flight at the austrian open in 2010 and he was so relaxed talking with his caddy and even interacting with the crowd. after a drive a little boy shout good drive and he winked at him and give a the thumbs up. great guy
Its not called the "US PGA Championship," Its called the "PGA Championship." Its a major, there is only 1 PGA tour and its here in america. Snoody Euro's think they can call it that.
@Camden1101 Agreed but on the PGA Tour website, it says 'British Open Championship', it is 'The Open', the oldest major out of the four. Same rule applies!
@jbizzle231 omg he is just like so totally fucking good. He putted well for a solid 3 months ill give you that. and he played extremely well for that period of time. but that time is gone and he is strugglin bro
@jbizzle231 i didn't say his career was over, just his moment of consistently solid play. You realize everyone has a solid week right? ex. Todd Hamilton, Rich Beem, Shaun Micheel. Or how about more recent examples: Tiger was back for a week, Sergio was back for a week, and guess what... they're not playing well!!!! So to get to my actual point he's not back, he's having a solid week, (or 2 1/2 rounds to be more specific) we shall see how he plays beyond this week, then come say he's back
@Tatwai5 Hey genius you realize every single one of those guys won a major championship right? Now I'm not saying McDowell will end up as bad as them, cause he's not that bad (except for the recent 80 and the 79 today). But he just isn't that good of a player and he is never gonna be that good again, except for the occasional 2 to 3 rounds
@danee6281 of course i know those guys won, i meant after winning majors. As for mcdowell, I think his style is being consistent, he's won steadily on the european tour, and if he plays more in the states, im sure he can do well.
@Tatwai5 Well sir you need to look up your definition of consistency. He hasn't posted a top 25 in the past 2 months. Now I'm not saying he needs to be first page of the leaderboard every week, but missing the cut 3 out of 5 times doesn't really scream consistency to me. Will he win again? yes, he will find a hot putter in the occasional weeks, but will he achieve consistency or anything close to it? the plain answer to that is NO.
@jbizzle231 i love these comments for 2 reasons. 1. You have made no argument or stated any type of fact that would give anybody, any type of reason to believe I have no idea what I'm saying or that your argument (whatever that is) is correct and mine is wrong. 2. You can suck it dumbass, cause I do believe I was right. His swing went to hell today, along with the rest of his game. That would be an 80 and a 79 all within a few weeks. BAM!!!!!!!
@GolfingWithComedy nobody said he can't score. His swing just sucks. Pretty solid putter. Just don't really like him. So fuck his bitchass US open win HAHA!!!
@GolfingWithComedy well lets look at his recent ballstriking. If i do recall correctly from what i've seen he has pulled every other iron shot he has hit. He has no idea where the ball is going
@warrior4ever1992 you are an idiot and have no idea what you are talking about. first off that club is not shut at the top at all he just does not set his wrists instead his wrist is flat, at all times his swing is on plane but hey you must be a major champion and a swing coach
@TomH001 he's not even close to coming outside... take a look at the shaft angle from his transition through impact.. it lines up closer to his right forearm and is very shallow.. if he was coming from the outside the shaft would come down steeper and move outside his target line. Not that it matters but just FYI
He is an inspiration to me.. His swing isn't the most pleasant to watch( compared to els, rory, woods..etc).. Its not the most athletic swing like a dustin johnson or woods.. or is the tallest or biggest..but damnit he wins.. Shit he beat tiger.. he won the open.. he beat hunter mahan! PROPS TO THIS MAN. I didn't even like him at first.. but he def has my respect
@TomH001 ONE PLANE SWING you are a moron P5 is the same as P3 which is a one plane swing and he is not coming from the outside at all, grame takes very shallow diviots if he was coming from outside his swing would be very steep which it is not. DONT COMMENT ON THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOU FOOL

Love how spine angle contracts on downswing.THATS ATHLETIC. His shoulder move looks like a pull (similar to Kuchar) but HELL NO that is not a pull.

He has the bowed left wrist at the top of his swing. Gives him added power, some incinsistency, a right to left ball flight, and a U.S. Open.

@Utuber1234100 ...good point. The bowing of the left wrist in the downswing turns your left arm/shaft into a bull whip
