  • yeah we have EDCO you have Burrtec

  • @TheTrashman97 Where I live we have EDCO too. I was in Riverside County to get this shot.

  • Nice find not a lot of people film the trucks around the fontana and rialtothose round black cans look like claremont"s

  • LOL HEY, there's several of these still around collecting nearby (original Rangers), one even in single axle and on a WXLL!! So they don't only exist in Riverside :D

This one's arm is a lot more stable than the NEWER ones around here, they always swing all over the place as if every bolt was loosened halfway lol..I love the chain hanging down from the arm on this one though LOL!! Nice post...

  • That has got to be the truck with the shittiest operation that I've ever seen! Do you know around abouts how old this rig is? Must be up for retirement soon, this driver would be hell sick and tired of using this especially with the effort to shake each cart... I'd go mad on the first day of use haha Also noticed on this one that it has a seperate part which the hydraulic hoses rest on... seen extended in the pic at 8:26. Nice vid, thanks for the footage!

  • This truck was broken, normally it's not suppose to do that. The driver doesn't usually drive this truck, the told me that the usual guy didn't report the problem to the shop mechanic and thus he was stuck with this truck for the day with it's problems.

Either way, they'll be doing FL's with Curroto cans according to the driver so this truck will be relegated to trash and recycles, or so the story goes.

  • @shadofax96 whats broken exactly?

  • Did you watch the video?

  • yeah, i thought the operator just sucked or something, then i read the comments. so its bad electronics then?

  • the operator is like how do you get this can down with the claw?

  • I always found this arm design to be a bit comical to watch but this one just plain needs to be put out of it's misery!

    That poor operator...

    Great catch as usual Bill!

  • how old is this baby?

  • If Burrtec didn't mess around with the grille I would say a '93-'95, but who knows about SO-Cal trucks anymore, everything is so confusing down here.

  • weird truck!!

  • Old and crusty is an UNDERSTATEMENT! lol That arm looks like an arm for an ASL that I built out of Legos when I was 7. If they didn't already have the automated carts, they would be better off saving money with manual collection.

  • The arm electronics were messed up on this truck so it was doing that. Normally the Ranger is a pretty quick truck.

  • Wow! that is one very old Bridgeport! Very slow too. Great footage, and awesome stills as well! 5* and fav!

  • How old is this grandpa?

  • nice work. exactly how old is this truck, and it has to be the first burrtec bridgeport ive seen so far. didnt even know burrtec had bridgeports?! 5 stars and fav

  • Looks like it could use replacement.

  • I like that truck. Very interesting 5 and fave

  • nice! you werent kidding about old and crusty! lol 5*and fav for sure.

was the arm acting up or was he intentionally doing all those controlls? never seen an operater do that before

  • The arm was buggered, normally it wouldn't be doing that kind of stuff.

  • how long you guys gonna be out this way? i could get you more footage of burrtec from wed route if your still gonna be in town ill show you all the routes

  • good job there bill

  • why is the driver on the left side and not on the right?
