I love love love love Hanson, and I love love love love John Mayer...but in the song "Waiting On The World To Change" John Mayer is talking about how people SHOULDN'T wait on the world to change...and how we should do something! Zac needs to listen to the song again...:)
Ok, I'm sorry, but even though I feel helpless sometimes and I love the song, Zac makes a good point. Has John Mayer publicly said, "Though the song's message is one of helplessness in terms of war, politics, and the media, I never said we couldn't change poverty"? Or are you suggesting it's a satire designed to draw attention to our excuses in hopes that it'll provoke change? Has John said that?
