  • I can run mile so fast that I can without being tired, I can run 10miles for fun, I can dive 50m easily, I can swim endlessly without getting tired, I love cold water and carrying logs, I can be underwater 2min without breathing, im strong, im mentally tough..

  • i wantthis to be seal because i learn parkour but people bring me down telling me its too hard, i have the heart but i have trouble swiming in ocean current and dealing with sharks

  • @TheStoopidComments i have the same problem problem except well i dont do parkour but people try and bring me down too, it really pisses me off.

  • damn I wish I could swim like this!

  • This is my future.

  • The spirit of being alive and staying alive to be free to feel free to bring freedom

  • I have a ton of respect for the people in the United States Navy, the things you do are amazing

  • @TheTTMman1995 Thanks.

  • becareful swimming out there in the open.. i know youre a seal but dam man i could see jaws coming outa know where & hitttin ya like like a little seal shark week doesn't lie !

  • @IWishIHadCompetition Maybe you haven't heard but the sharks are scared of the SEALs.

  • This Guy is a G

  • Your not to talk what you have been doing. Don't talk about your Mission you just came back from

  • I love this video. Amphibious Warriors : It's common sense which in modern times the majority of the population have a serious deficiency. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you. :)

  • He calls himself a "Master Chief" because he IS a master Chief..and will be one for life..like myself...

  • guys does anyone know what are those fins on 0.38 named ? Please let me know

  • He calls himself the Master Chief....he's probably right.

  • So do navy seals not have many missions or something because all I can find they do is train and train and train and they are pretty much athletes or are there missions just kept in the dark so no1 knows do they get many secret missions or just a couple in a lifetime?

  • @TheRallycrossKing SEALs do all the most important and secret missions. You dont usualy here about the missions unless somthing goes wrong (Doesnt happen much) or if a retired seal tells people about it.

  • That dude isnt swimming, water just likes being around him :)

  • i have to give love to the rangers their bad ass!!!!

  • the master chief aint got shit on the navy seals

  • This dude needs to read "total immersion"... he'd be a MUCH faster, more efficient swimmer. He needs to keep his fingers together and roll from one side to the other, making the body more hydrodynamic.

  • my hands are getting tired just from watching this

  • I hope more will take the challenge to be a Navy SEAL. We sure need more of them more than ever for sure.

  • SEAL's are Hard Core Bad Ass Mother Fuckers! Sure, our best Devil Dog can hang with any other branch's best but you have to respect what those guys go through. I've been down to LFTC Coronado on occasion and have thought to myself many times,"Glad I'm not out there freezing my ass off in the surf." A good Marine will respect all members of the Armed Forces. A Marine can shoot your eye out from 500 meters but a Sailor can shoot a cruise missle up your ass from a lot further. Semper Fi...

  • hmmm probrably right though, still gotta respect others

  • SEALS rule.

  • The ones that say "I can't do this" are cowards, to be a SEAL you have to cowboy up and push yourself to your limits.

THE ONLY EASY DAY! WAS YESTERDAY!!

  • He's coming to the Naval Academy tomorrow

  • my dad was in the navy it is the shit high class elegant forces to join army is trash airforce is the best

  • The cinematography is amazing!

  • I can't fucking wait to ship! This fuels me, HOOYAHHHH!!!

  • @Reaction92 Listen kid, you sound like you're about nine.

  • @campbpar your a fucking idiot.

  • @Reaction92 Get shot first.

  • great motivation video, thanks paul tarp !!!

  • Such a simple video, but has given me extra drive!

  • warporn

  • He looks like a T-Rex.

  • 0:46 He LITERALLY swallows his pride. Yes- body language can tell you a lot about people.

You won't see a guy like this ever looking up or rolling his eyes. GROUNDED.

  • There can't be anything TOUGHER than training in an ocean like that.

Think about how he has to catch the waves just right to plow through and how dark it could be.

Let slip the frogs of war.

  • Well im a seal candidate right now, and leave for basic august 2nd. this vid is really motivating.

  • I will go the Army Diving school and i am 44, This video is so cool...

  • Dam..much respect

  • How can he open his eyes up under water? Wouldn't That salt burn or sting his eyes? I'm curious because I can't open my eyes up underwater.

  • @1negativethought2 He probably loves it

  • @1negativethought2 If youre under seawater, it only hurts for a second, then your eyes adjust. Besides he has gogggles on

  • HOOYAH MASTER CHIEF!

  • Uha!!!

  • I'm going into the Navy this year to become 1. I'm 23 years old I play baseball & tennis & i do boxing. I landscape during the day & when i get home i run 10 miles. I never stop & I am always rdy to go & im not in the military but cant wait to get it on with these bad boys!!

  • @IWishIHadCompetition

dude, you say your always ready to go, but you sleep every night,

lets see what happens if you reach hellweek ;)

with like 2 hours of sleep or so ? then talk lol

you dont seem to have a complete picture of what the navy seals is all about.... but you will figure that out... soon in Bud/s :D i wish you all the luck out there ... and dont die or get injured

  • @IWishIHadCompetition Your an idiot.

  • Hes like a mile off the coast and he is swimming thats so cool

  • Respect to all navy seals, would not want to piss you off, please watch this video, please do not be a puppet for oil and opium: Invisible Empire.

  • HOOYAH MASTER CHIEF THARP!

  • GOODS MAN !

  • Does anyone know what kind of goggles he is wearing???

  • Eek a shark!

  • we were getting are first surf immerssion and master cheif tharps there first class as cmc in his nsu pacing back and forth stops and eyes someone starts to walk out in the surf zone full uniform..lol gets bout waist deep and points 'you!! whats ur name!! the kid next to me... walline master cheif!!!.... walline.... you know what i see when i look in ur eyes walline!? what MC? ALL I CAN SEE IS FEAR! whattt MC?!?!?!?!? turns around and walks out...lol baddest man alive

  • cmc tharp is like god. im putting my package in next year when i come from my foward depolyment. the stories i hear from the buds duds about him is crazy. like you can smell the stinch of death off him

  • I'm trying to put in a packet, too, but my CC hasnt done it before...you know much about the process/steps involved?

  • man i wish girls could do this sigh

  • Girls had a shot when spec opps were first formed, even russia allowed them. But all of the challengers folded under pressure and gave up so the new rule is men only in spec opps. But and can do the sea cadets and try for nswoc which is suppose to train young teens to become ready for seals, i did it and it was a blast learned alot got me into better shape than i was. So if your 15-18 yrs of age try for that. I had a girl in my class but only 12 kids are chosen.

  • I am not an expert on Navy Seals, but I have a friend who was one and friends with Paul Tharp and I believe both are wonderful and outstanding athletes, but my friend EEM is also a fantastic human being and I love him like a brother.

Thank you EEM for sending me this video.

  • this is great! im going to take the SEAL's requirement test today, im soo excited!!

  • basic underwater demolition seals

  • basic underwater demolition seals

  • no. sorry you are wrong. SEAL, stands for Sea Air & Land. BUDS, stands for Basic Underwater Demolition School.

  • @philip89 its actually Basic Under Demolition SEAL training, not school.

  • your right. this kids dont know a damn thing about the frog men. they dont even kknow where the schoool is nor know that cmc tharp is a god

  • BUD/s the s is for specialist

  • @cellardoor199991 no its for SEAL ; BUD/S -Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL

  • @21ROYIK21 actually we're both wrong. S' in BUD/s stands for school. the little s in SEAL/s stands for specialist.

  • @cellardoor199991 No dude. Basic Underwater Demolitions/SEAL training.

The little "s" is just making SEAL plural. SEALs doesn't have a slash in it.

  • I can assure you that he is correct when he says the only easy day was yesterday. People talking about how hard BUD/S is really have no idea; BUD/s is the end of the easy days. The hard part begins at the conclusion of BUD/s...

  • Wat? WTF. I wanna be a SEAL I though it got easier after BUD's. Thanks for breakin my balls Lol.

  • This takes another breed of guys, i could never do this, they are amazing how much they go through and how detremend they are

  • @12jason223 If you REALLY wanted to, you could do it. The potential of the human body is tremendous; however, the "average" person simply does not believe in himself. Look at the Tamahumara Indians - capable of running hundreds of miles, non-stop. It's like the 4-minute mile. Once Roger Bannister broke that mark, many people IMMEDIATELY ran sub 4-min miles. Before that, doctors actually believed that a human being would die if they ever ran a sub 4-minute mile. It's all in the mind.

  • @mrkitanai1 Im thinking of joining and trying out for BUDs myself. I have been interested in joing for a long time. Im more concerned with tarining mentally first before preparing for the physical. Do you know what kind of shots and vaccines they give you in the navy and is it the same shots you get in BUDs or are they different?

  • @12jason223 not really every one is capable but its the ones who keep pushing through the pain and agony

  • Comment removed

  • Don't you just hate when American bash on thier onw country and military? If you guys hate it so much why don't you just leave the country????

  • @moe761 amen, if you dont like it leave, no ones keeping you here

  • because its called freedom of speech.

  • guys in high shcool watch what ur learing helps u qualify fastr

  • haha man this has been my dream since freshman year of highschool. to be a navy seal

oh yeah and strongside...wrestling is nothing to what they do man...nothing

  • this sounds AWESOME!!! makes me regret being at college. i'm an outdoors active kind of guy and though i am loving uc berkeley, it can get tedious not haveing a challenge or any close friends up here.

  • Most SEALs have a college degree. Hang in there with school, finish it up, then join the Navy and try out for SEALs.... That college degree will help you out...

  • i was so so close to enlisting but i chose to give college a try, i plan on joining the NAVY after college with out a doubt but finish out college man, you can have the choice of enlisting with a higher rating or you can go through OCS and become an officer. being a seal is what i am aiming for. good luck man

  • And we are winning it no questions asked and we will not lose.

  • You know in the middle east lets say in a month we lose 30 soldiers and thats bad one too, probably more than 5 times as many jihadists and terrorists are being killed. Thats the thing that people dont see they all dwell on our damage that we are receiving we are dealing out more then 10 times that of the damage we are receiving so yes we are winning the War.

  • Hey strong guess what: WE ARE WINNING THE WAR!!!!!!!!

  • @Crusader3451 I hope you can tell yourself that when A SEAL kicks your door in XD

  • why be afraid of sharks when you have a killing knive and firepower with you?

    seriously...

  • Is he still the head over Pre BUDS over NSTC? SOCS Rhoades is the head over the Navy DIVEMO staff. DIVEMO trains recruits for the most part and fucks with Seal hopefuls at will.. SOCM Tharp takes over if you hopefuls go across the street for pre BUD/s..

  • Comment removed

  • Does anyone know how Tharp finished in Hawaii? Time wise?

  • this guy is such an incredible athlete that i cant help but be inspired by his lifestyle and commitment,

thank you paul tharp for pushing me....

  • This video is very motivating............

  • they post these vids not to recruite for seals but to get you to clean the poop deck on some giant ship after you join and fail buds. you cant handle the truth lol

  • lol

  • actually they're trying to double the SEALs they have now. and if you don't make SEAL, if you have a decent ASVAB score you can easily find another job like corpsman, IT, IS...w/e you qualify for/what they need at the moment. plus anyone that even attempts BUDs is a real man. in this economy, its easy to recruit guys to clean boats and they get a lot of benefits. truth is, we need more SEALs to win this war.

  • not double- they only want 3,000 the number right now is closer to 2,500

  • um, 5k is double...we are in a shitty world. need the spec ops to clean it up a bit. show the world what we are all about

  • right 5k is double- they do not want to double amount of SEALs, what I read was that they want 3,000 Active Navy SEALs (which means they are trying to increase their number by roughly 500) its VERY rudimentry arithmetic.

  • Were not going to win the war

  • billy the war's over

  • in Afghanistan

  • lol what war its just fun

  • no you do not go back to a civilian job- you go back to the fleet.

  • Which is worse :X

  • it depends on the person. but failing BUDS is not shameful- i have a lot of respect for anyone who even tries to go to BUDs, even if they fail and go back to the fleet- they make excellent sailors, and still have the possiblity to go back to BUDS for another try after a year or two in the fleet.

  • No, you spend two years at sea scrubbing toilets then go back to bud/s and try again.

  • thats why the navy is boring. But we need the navy

  • Thats the biggest lie ever. Theres a video on class [234] where theres a few guys who come back to try BUD/s. Theres a guy in that class....his name is Rivera and he passed BUD/s after his third try. So don't Bullshit in here. Discouragement is not welcomed.

  • whats BUD/s

  • [B]asic [U]nderwater [D]emolition / [s]chool.

  • For rivera, third was going to be the last time and you know how hard it is to get a slot at BUD/s, Rivera was in Navy for like 10 years before he graduated.

  • none of you will make it as SEALS. sorry but the fact is none of you are ready. neither am I. do you see what this vid is about? does this SEAL sit on the internet? no! he's ALWAYS doing something to make himself better. and thats what you people months away from BUD/S should be doing.

  • Thats very true.

  • lol no need for that. all these guys that say there going to buds in a few weeks are fibing. their not even old enough to drive let alone enlist lol.

  • @emsavpl:

They are working on there mental capacity (motivation). That's the whole goal of this video (and recruitement). It would be worse if they were looking ad a Britney Spears video. Don't you think, sir?

  • if someone who plans to be a SEAL is looking at a britney spears video... well they need to get kicked in the balls.

  • Britney is hardcore bitch.

  • @emsavpl thanks for the advice

  • @emsavpl your absolutely right

  • sweeet, i leave next week for bootcamp then off to Pre BUDS then BUDS, fucking hooyah!

  • Good luck brother. I will see you there soon. Hooyah!

  • Me?

  • I would really love to stay in contact with all the people on youtube who say they're going to be SEALs and see what really happens

  • i leave to boot camp in Sept! then the 8 week prep course then it's off to BUD/S

  • hahaha you like to think ahead and get prepared right?

hahaha yea man good luck to you also!

  • you do know that you have to join the navy to become a SEAL

  • how is that smart?

& are you shur you can switch from marines to navy like that ?

  • Comment removed

  • @philipinoidiot That's true, but Marines are way more badass than the Navy in general. Special Forces are equal as far as training for the Navy SEALS and Force Recon. Both will fuck you up.

  • @strawberrrys SEALs can be more effective than you think.

  • @strawberrrys The Marines are under the department of the Navy. Don't compare Force Recon to SEALS. they're different. The Navy is all that's needed so says the United States Constitution. I'm not trying to come off as a prick, But there's a big difference, It takes a much longer time to be a SEAL. It's not just BUDS. it's multiple schools including the Army Airborne school in Fort Benning. takes over a year to be a SEAL and after that to be proficient with everything it takes about 5 years +

  • @eminempkr Oh gotcha! What does it take for Force Recon, I'm looking into that haha I guess that's why I'm bias got to have some branch rivalry :)

  • @strawberrrys Well, until recently you must have served I think it was 2 years in the Marines before you could even try out for a Recon Billet. And the length of the training for MARSOC (Marine Special Operations School) is I think 7 months, for all the skills needed. However that time goes up depending on what other A schools the Marine attends.

  • @strawberrrys no sir the training of the force recon is more like the airborne rangers only of the water there are way more people in force recon much more than the seals team it shows how elite the navy seals are.

  • @j99701 Oh, cool! Didn't know that haha my ignorance I do appologize and ya now that I think about it and have talked to different people you're right. The training demands more from the SEALs. Much respect to all special forces though.

  • @strawberrrys No your are fine, I just don't like those who willingly defend stupidity but, otherwise i appreciate how maturely you responded.

  • @philipinoidiot still you gotta respect every type of branches even if they arent as good as navy seals. Since they are doing whatever it takes to protect our country

  • @philipinoidiot They have different missions therefore they are trained differently. MSOT Teams are on par with the SEALs

  • @heeberman im going to the seals.want me to private message you my facebook

  • i cant even run a short block. how can i swim 3 miles if i want to be a seal!!!

i hope i can make it. may god be with me

  • if your in that bad of shape you shouldnt even think about being in the armed forces basic training would be hell for you I suggest you look into something else besides the military

  • go to the SEALSWCC webiste and download the free prep wokout routine they have. it will get you prepard for BUD/S

  • wait then that means everyday is easy.....

  • you are an idiot.

  • you study sharks so that you can be a SEAL? I hope your kidding.

  • Dumb people swimmin g in the ocean. Shark food they are not real seals and the sharks dont know the difference.

  • You're a dumb -A__, You should really look and learn before you speak. Good Luck

  • Master chief tharp is such a badass, very intimidating in person though. Any of you guys goin Seal wont get to meet him until you get to buds because he's following my class 279 to coronado to be the cmc. hooyah

  • He looks gay

  • GOSH THEY ARE SO LEGIT!!!!!

  • CRAZY!

  • wooooooow!

  • It looks so graceful

  • First of all this mother fucker is nuts. Second, hes training my cousin right now to enter BUD/s.

  • awesome. At pre-BUD/S in Great Lakes? I'm headed to Basic July 9th and I'm on the SEAL route (I have my contract).

  • yeah he was in pre- BUD/s, but just left for cali. Tharp went with them. lol

  • Damn boy..good luck!
