@GijsInc If you took your biology classes, you would have learned that a drug can be anything that is inhaled, indigested, absorbed or injected resulting in irregular biological function of an organism. Therefore the THC will alter your preception and nervous system resulting in a change of biological function proving it is a drug

It just pisses me off when people say weed isnt harmful and is not a drug, because it is. No you wont die, but honestly im an ex smoker and i already see a change

@JBrizzzz yeah it is, but there are no harmful side effects unless you O.D., much like most legal drugs. Illegal drugs however, they have a permanant effect on your body. When you go to apply for a drug test, the presence of drugs stays there forever even if you haven't used in years. My recommendation: Stay away from illegal drugs altogether. And try your best to stay away from legal drugs for recreational use.

@Boomation what are you talking about do you know how easy it is to become addicted to prescribed drugs, and the withdrawal from benzodiazepines can kill you which the most common brand is xanex which is prescribed for anxiety and is highly addictive, plus most prescribed painkillers contain opiates which means its basically prescribed herion and since they are legal with a prescription they are probably the easiest drug to access next to weed and booze

I'm saying that it's pretty stupid that people use drugs such as the ones you describe for getting "high" when they're real purpose is to help people with conditions or illnesses. The thing about weed and other narcotics is they really serve no purpose. Weed doesn't have much of an effect on a human other than making them lose interest in everything and becoming really hungry. Although, that doesn't make it right.

@Boomation Um weed never makes me lose interest in ANYTHING. In fact yesterday when I was high on weed after taking a 5 month break from it I had an epiphany. I realized my little brother will die very soon, before I do. I realized this and started crying. Started caring about his health. I realized his choice to NEVER eat fruits or vegetables will kill him. It increased my investigative skills and I still had apathy. It also motivated me to help him in subtle ways so i don't oppress him.

@Boomation Let me see, weed has made me more tolerable of different people. Different cultures, different music and difference in general. I was much more calm, relaxed, and I had the stereotypical stoner humor. Yet weed also helped me become much more socially capable. I am able to have intellectual conversations about various topics when I'm high on weed, I also can last a lot longer during sex when I'm high on weed. Weed helped me make my girl cum about 13 times before I did.

@Boomation The weed only aided in my mental capacity because THC molecules temporarily affect the way you think because they attach themselves to your neuron receptors or whatever they're called. So incidentally weed, at the time, made me think in a DIFFERENT perception. Therefore it DID make me more open minded. That's all I'm saying. Everything else came from ME. Everything else was MY mind, MY personality and MY actions. If you want to make it sound like my life was bad, then go ahead.

@GijsInc Do you want to link to your evidence for that? In most science you never prove anything you only provide support for an idea/theory. It may not be as physically addictive as other drugs but can be mentally addictive. It provides a feeling of reward or achievement for doing nothing by firing off dopamine and norepinephrine receptors artificially using up your supplies of these making it harder for your body to reward you for actually achieving anything which can result in depression.

Soda, technically a drug, video games, technically drugs, cigarettes, beer any ADDICTING substance. A drug has to be physically addicting to be defined as a DRUG, if it's mental then that's more of the user's fault and not the substance. Like video games, that's completely mental
