Home isn't yet released. It will be released sometime next year. But to connect your PS3 to the Network all you need to do is plug it into your internet connection with a regular Ethernet cable. Or use wireless. And then sign up to PSN. It's simple, and free.

It's just sad that you won't ever get to play the next (and probably last) game in the Metal Gear Solid series (just because you hate Sony).
