If, at any point, one of the floors under the upper half of the building gives way, the entire upper half of the building will begin to accelerate downwards. There is no way to stop the many thousands of tons of concrete and steel from plummeting. As this mass falls inwards, it expels mass outwards, because there is simply no where else for it to go. There is no way to tell how quickly the center of the building is collapsing, so I wouldnt assume that there are "explosions" coming from below

The explanation is simple. What you are observing is the headforce caused by the collapse. The floors begin to collapse on the interior. The exterior shortly there after. The explosion progresses, the force in the middle pushes out which explains why you think you are observing planned charges. As for the supposed "exploding debris": If the building were set demo style it would have collapsed on itsefl and not fell in the manner it did. It collapsed in an uneven manner and fell over.
