i played resistance 2 first when i got it with my ps3, then i got this and im up to nottingham. im still undecided on which is better, but i can say that they are both very good. resistance 2 was very satisfying when i finished it, and this is so far a very solid game; i like the English country side setting.

i didn t even get hited in this place ... u know the grey thing on the left if you go to the walls near it u don t get hited by the machine .. and they don t even see you so you kill them easily...... this just in hard mode and easy ... didn finish the game 3 times

Stalker - Impressive that you got it stunned so quickly.

During its 3-4 missle volley, I prefer running at it rather then trying my luck with cover that could fail me. (2 bars of damage per rocket)

Then I get cover and do basically as you do.

That's one approach of many. R1 Stalkers are easy enough to take on directly I feel. Widowmakers are badasses so you have to be mindful when not whoring a LAARK.

That wouldn't be a superhuman issue. I replayed the demo many times before ever playing the real game. I started off feeling out its patterns/weaknesses. Cover often failed unless it was full proof like under the Truck. Once I notice it's missles overshot while I charged it, I'd carefully run (and hop) about while charging it (not directly unless there was a lot of distance to cover) Stalkers of R1 just aren't that tough. Widowmakers are STILL badasses if you aren't respecting them.

I have a TON of strategies for Resistance that I'd like to do videos on. Seriously, there are things you can do with the Arc Charger that will make the game a piece of cake...!!!

At 5:44, you are correct in recommending a close stance, but I'd suggest you take it ever closer. Try this:

1) Go to the right of the canister and throw a backlash grenade right before the door opens and stand in the shield.

2) Once the doors open, log in grenades and grenade launchers BEFORE the chimeras even step out. They're all bunched together in there.

To make things a whole lot easier, when the mechanized walker comes out, immediately go to the canvas where they dropped off the Chimera. Wait for him to turn around, shoot the weak spot as much as you can, then get RIGHT back in and stay there till the rockets are done firing (they fire 4 times). The rockets can't get to you while you are in the canvas.

i would agree that this is a great game but in my eyes Gears of war was way more liking and i think it has Better graphics and i would choose GoW over Rfom anyday

Determining which game is better, GoW & RFoM, is a matter of relativity. Why? Both games differ in so many ways, especially gameplay. If you enjoy eye-candy third person and taking cover from a few hard hitting baddies then sure you'd love GoW. But if you like fps and shooting at butt-load of baddies using wild and immaginative weapons whilst crap are flying everywhere, lasting in 12 to 15 hrs, then RFoM is your game.

Same here, I played Gears online before. Sure it was fun, but a map with only six players doesn't compete against Resistance's online play with 40 players in a single map without any lag. However, I just hate it when people who never even played the game before say it sucks.
