I only have one video so far but I will make some more and share what I learned about getting a claim thru. Getting a VA check is all my channel deals with. No therapy, just some advise on what I did tp get the claim approved

PTSD is a continuous battle of the emotion, FEAR. Once we learn how to get rid of FEAR we can move on to heal. For me, being a twice victim/victor of PTSD I was able to connect with my Higher Power to heal through inspired poetry. As a sufferer of PTSD myself, and no, I'm not a solider, but I can tell you from personal experience, that it's fucking scary as.
I can only speak from my own experience, but if my traumas are only half as bad as these poor souls, then god help them.

I wont lie. I saw shit that i felt was morally wrong. I said what i felt to the Leadership and found myself working away from the unit for not agreeing with criminal acts. its been two years since I have been back and trying to live in society. I don't fit in. I am angry at everyone. I cant talk to anyone because they are afraid of me. Im not just saying it. people have told me they are afraid of me. they think when I have a bad day im just going to shoot everyone. I value life more than ever.
The US Government should do more for their "Issues". GI's shouldn't be used, abused, and thrown aside which has become the cultural standard. Only those with legacies in the military rise in rank and keep some sort of dignity. The majority are thrown out and forgotten. There should be a "reintegration" program to sensitize the GI's and perhaps help justify their previous actions and make them come to terms with high pressure arrangements that brought the worst out in them - as normal.
Hopefully this surge works in training and building up Afghan forces to battle terrorists and secure the country. Its good to know that there is a timeline so the public has an idea when the troops will be leaving afghanistan and iraq. That was the best part about Obamas speech about the conflict in Afghanistan.

I only have one video so far but I will make some more and share what I learned about getting a claim thru. Getting a VA check is all my channel deals with. As a sufferer of PTSD myself, and no, I'm not a solider, but I can tell you from personal experience, that it's fucking scary as.
I can only speak from my own experience, but if my traumas are only half as bad as these poor souls, then god help them.

@Lpoolboy yeah, you clearly don't know anything about PTSD. you can be at home in a combat zone, you can be completely indifferent with the whole thing but the environment changes you, you might not have been terrified by suicide bombers or mortars but when you start your truck back in civilian life, it hits you. pedestrians are still potential bombers, mailboxes can still be IEDs, you keep checking your rear-view not for traffic but to see if your convoy is alright.

well the soliders probably started shooting them if they got near them because when we first got over there trying to help these fuckers they would shoot us in the back. the military had no choice but to start making these sort of decisions to protect our guys. what we should do is nuke that whole fucking place over there because we will never change them. its a tough time and you have to make tough choices..

@GrizzlyMintBoy You're going to get stuck in the VA, the worst drs ever. They will drug you and not listen to you and they won't pay you a living wage. I'm a veteran with NOTHING not even a real home. I live on social sec. and that's not enough to live on. The VA is the only dr i can afford to see, and they labeled me less than 10% disabled, and you have to be more than 40% to get $. me-brain, neck , nerve damage, poisoned by agent oragne + ptsd + alcoholic problems.

I wont lie. I saw shit that i felt was morally wrong. I said what i felt to the Leadership and found myself working away from the unit for not agreeing with criminal acts. its been two years since I have been back and trying to live in society. I don't fit in. I am angry at everyone. I cant talk to anyone because they are afraid of me. Im not just saying it. people have told me they are afraid of me. they think when I have a bad day im just going to shoot everyone. I value life more than ever.

The US Government should do more for their "Issues". GI's shouldn't be used, abused, and thrown aside which has become the cultural standard. Only those with legacies in the military rise in rank and keep some sort of dignity. The majority are thrown out and forgotten. There should be a "reintegration" program to sensitize the GI's and perhaps help justify their previous actions and make them come to terms with high pressure arrangements that brought the worst out in them - as normal.

Hopefully this surge works in training and building up Afghan forces to battle terrorists and secure the country. Its good to know that there is a timeline so the public has an idea when the troops will be leaving afghanistan and iraq. That was the best part about Obamas speech about the conflict in Afghanistan.

Look at the veterans of WW2, Vietnam, and now Iraq. Over the years, our military has become soft. WW2 veterans never spoke of what they saw. Vietnam vets...sometimes spoke. Iraq vets...talk to much. Why? Because liberal politicians got a bug up their ass and turned our once great military into a more "gentle" military. Its war, people. Not a fucking vacation.

I live in colorado springs my husband is in the army stationed at carson and is a combat engineer and has PTSD really bad and it is has ripped our marriage apart. He is very angry and wants just to go back. Told me he wants and craves war and killing :(. He won't see help and the army won't listen to me when i tell them that he needs help and that he isn't right. He is going to snap one day. If you pray please keep me in your prayers my name is kate his is rhett. :( PTSD is so hard to deal with.

God Bless you, and I salute You My Nephew was KIA, Iraq Dec 2006. Crpl Mathew J Stanley. He was on his second tour, married not even a yr. For a small town kid, he sure got some people talking. ( When Senator McCain started wearing Matt's bracelet) I'm a Vet myself and about 18 months ago took part in a documentary filmed for Vets w/PTSD using a rel new approach called EFT. Absoluteley! I never understood politics. We have more people than ever out of work, losing their homes and worse. It bogs the mind, why is it we still have kids in America that go to bed hungry in what is supposed to be the richest country in the world? It makes no sense, I understand helping others, but what about helping ourselves first? Look at the prisons, overcrowded with over 81% of inmates doing time because of Drug/Alcohol related problems. I don't have the answers, who does?
