  • more them to Winnipeg!! GO JETS GO!

  • lol u suk

  • Correction: JERRY MOYES declared bankruptcy. Poor management is to blame. This problem will be quelled by the NHL purchasing this team. Oh, and for the record Gretzky can't coach for shit --especially at 7 million/year.

  • I like the idea of uniting the NHL with the KHL. Or perhaps NHL teams could one day participate in Champions League play?

Gary Bettman is not trying to save his own ego, he's trying to save the revenue that he gets from the Coyotes' TV Deal, because he knows he will never get that money back in Hamilton. Yes, it's sad, but the NHL is a business. Bettman's doing what's best for him, not for anyone else.

  • If Reisendorf gets this team mark my words they will relocate to Vegas KC or Houston within 7 years. This is not a deal to keep the team in Phoenix but to keep them out of Canada.

  • send the team to the east coast. Then Canada can be represented from coast to coast.

No need for another team between Toronto and Buffalo.

  • Move the team already hamitlon desveres it, bettemen one give it to him for any good reasons. this is crap!

  • They definately have the market for it. If you want to relocate a franchise or start one up while still in the US Alaska would be the place.

  • I'd like to see seattle get a team, its in the Pacific area and there are no cacti there outside the arena. They just lost their basketball team so it looks like they could use a franchise, and the minor leagues seem to do well there. Seems like a better fit than Kansas City

  • I am really quite surprised that like Anchorage doesnt have a team yet.

  • Gary seems to be interested in the Las Vegas franchise, so I think the next expansion will go there for one. Apparently Kansas City is one city that they're looking into. However, with the increased intrest in bringing an expansion team to Canada, one of them may be coming up here too. Don't hold your breath that any US team is relocating up here, read the first sentence. Gary will not under any circumstances admit his failings. He will resign before he turns his back on his 'legacy'.

  • Hockey in Vegas and KC? Give me a break! This is why Bettman needs to be replaced. He is ruining the game of hockey. Bring someone in who knows how to run both sides of the sport.

  • What the fuck are the Florida Panthers or the Nashville Predators? Seriously, why dont they just go the extra mile and put a team in Birmingham Alabama too, or Little Rock Arkansas or something. They dont know what the fuck hockey is in either Florida or Nashville. Then they deprive us of our teams. Its bullshit. Really though, how do they make any money in either Florida or Tennesee?

  • Good video.. you just made me hate Gary Bettman even more.. how is this guy still in charge? BRING A TEAM TO HAMILTON! -- Golden Horseshoe area - 8 million people..Hockey mecca of the world and there is only one team in Toronto - Monopolistic? I'd say so!

  • I don't have enough character count to eloquently wax about my disdain for the man. Phoenix is the first domino in a long chain of failures that ends with his resignation, which is why he's trying to stop this pivotal team from falling. Toronto is a monopoly for sure. They have an Underacheiving team, and they don't care because the cheque is in the mail. Totaly complacent. But the fans are more to blame. You think Balsilie would want this team if the Leafs were good for the last 40 years?

  • i think they should go back to winipeg and become the jets again

  • That may work, if they can modify the arena the Moose play out of to increase the capacity there. The only thing that really could truncate the teams stay in winnipeg may be the risk of operational exacerbation, driving the team out of Winnipeg AGAIN! The initial intrest in the team would be great, but how long would it last? Don't get me wrong, i'd love to see a team there again, but the economics of the game seem to have priced a city like winnipeg out of the market.
