I remember Geoff telling a group of us at Daytona a couple years ago, in person, that he Momentarily died in this accident and remembered seeing the white light of Heaven and his Father telling him from Heaven that it wasn't his time to go and sent him back just as the crash was ending for him, thats how he survived...No joke..He told the story on Sirius Nascar radio some time later as well.

Allisons crash was nowhere near as severe as this one....Bobby had a whole car left...all of Bodines truck was left was his seat and left rear wheel. I have many still photos of the truck remains.The top of the rollcage was missing,how he lived thru that only God knows why.

The truck seemed to loose no speed after the impact with the catch fence, must have been going 150mph when its was rolling. Amazing the driver survived.
