La Gaurdia has never been mentioned as a friend of the family. They were an amazingly tight bunch of friends who would travel together (see Fl, Bermuda/Nassu/Nova Scotia/etc footage I have here) and socialized alot together. We've never had political connections.
I kinda doubt La Gaurdia is in there. And, sorry, I can't give you the address of the house except to say it is on the river side of the HH parkway. I don't actually know the address to the house!
Wow lipwak, for some time I only wished that someone would upload home movies from that time period and now I come across this. Wonderful snapshot of a now mythical period in history and in remarkably good quality too considering it's age.
Thank you very much! It's a treat that people like this stuff!
All of my grandparents movies were transferred from the film to video back in the late 80s. The film is gone now but they did a good job with the transfer and the movies were good to start out with. The NY State Historical Association will have digital copies of all of them soon.
I know the name of the owner's house but I can't tell it to protect their privacy. (They don't live there anymore but family members are still around elsewhere.) And I guess it doesn't help much but one can see that it is by the river, as close as one can get but I don't know the street address. Sorry I can't be more help.
I grew up in Escrow, but it vas no place to live. You couldn't even go out at night without your stake.

@louiejack6 Thanks for the update. The weasels didn't even ask me. On the one hand I am flattered. On the other, a little miffed.

I live in Riverdale and grew up in Kingsbridge. This is great to see.

I had someone else look at the photo. Why are you so sure its not LaGuardia. The people playing look as if they could be in politics.

July 16, 2009. Would you know if one of the men playing baseball is Mayor LaGuardia. And the address of the home. Thank you

Thanks. I was just curious, as I lived at Skyview On The Hudson from 1966-1970.
