Good old Bob Hartman what a tasty guitar player. It's a shame some really cool musicians get overlooked because there in the Christian recording market and not the secular world.

What a great rock vocalist John Schlitt is as well. I wonder what the secular audience would have made of Schlitt and Hartman if they were in a band like Toto or R.E.O. Speedwagon,etc?

The Beyond Belief album was just that, BEYOND BELIEF! It may have been their best work. Yes, better than Unseen Power and Jeckyl and Hyde! Creed is perfect. except it gets a little long at the bridge- the live version fixes that though!

Best band IMHO. I grew up with these guys. When I was saved back in 1985 Petra was there for me. I've had many years of blessing through their music ministry. Thankfully, in a world of fading stars and compromise, they always stuck with the message. I respect that in a big way.

If there's one thing I love about Petra, even all these years later, it's the musicianship. Bob Hartman is an incredible songwriter.

This was the one Christian band I really liked. Most of the others I found really depressing. Bob made it uplifting.

One thing I liked about Petra is that they used their talents to present the pure Word of the Bible, and never got astray like many others. All of their songs stick to the Bible. I still enjoy the Great Petra Age.

This song sums up the Christian beliefs so clearly. We are to believe in the Son, the Fath Na dthe Holy Ghost. The Holy Trinity is so loving and caring. We as humans try to make things harder they they actually have to be. Do everything in your life by asnwering the question "Would Jesus Do This?"
