Wow. I am transported back in time listening to Zahara It takes me back to being 16 years old and first hearing Miriam Makeba. She was the root of soul music to me. She gave this American teen roots back to Africa. I did truly feel back then in the US Like a motherless child far away from home. Miriam Makeba made me feel that freedom of expression was mine to wield as I choose. Zahara, I feel, will do this for my grandchildren, Let them hear the soulful, spiritual, beauty of Africa.
