@TheRockisSmokin very. Never been able to adjust it without removing the engine. Some people say you can bend a screwdriver but never been able to see how, it's very fiddly mate.

@route66rocks you've got to get LSN setting correct :) check my LSN tuning videos and do pinch test to achieve this.

hey there, i picked up a firestorm over the holidays. it's been driving fine until today, it wouldn't start unless the throttle trim was set high and on a stand. once i moved the car to the ground the engine would stop. or once i lowered the throttle trim to where it should be the engine would die. any ideas? thanks.

@beesod i figured out the problem. clutch shoe spring broke. but i'm curious. do you know why it would break? thanks

@beesod It is a common problem with these cars. Replace it with a better quality one :)

@JimmyFarina97 It's cheaper, but not much cheaper. Can't say exactly, check your local hobby store or online sellers. Engine will perform not so well on lower percentage, but tuned correctly you won't notice much difference.

@ATVRiders2O11 haha tell me about it. Going to the Track again to day :) I honestly don't have a favourite, Put it this way mate, I have two electric. And about 8 Nitro. I started with Nitro & still love it.

Oh, and forgot to say: an other good way is to slowly 'scan' the engine and check the max. temp. like this you are sure that your engine will stay cool. Happy bashing!

at 2:49 when you check you engine temp. you are measuring the temperature of the cooling head and not your glow plug top. On the infrared thermometer you see an big hole in the bottom and an small one on top. The best way to measure the temperature is to hold the large hole in the middle of the cooling head just barely touching the upper side. the small hole on top is just a laser guide that only works on longer distances. I tried bot and got dramatically lower temps when holding it like you do

@Pelle4495 No I was measuring the Glow plug, not the heatsink :) you might be right though about the dramatically lower temperatures thing. I did think that 105 degrees F was a bit cool :) haha. Should be ok

hi i have a nitro monster truck with a .18 engine will 10% nitro work, i know i would loose some performance but would the engine be damaged and would it even run

@minileafe it would work but i recommend 20% because it will usally work the best if you usally just bash and for the size of the engine
