i like this interview portion of the pageant, it's something new and it gives the audience the chanced to see that the girls running for pageant have humors just like the audience and not look upon them like they are on stage trying to win the title only..some of these are straight out but some are very funny, which makes it even better

@hmooblisyeejhlub #5 did an excellent job on her questions. If you listen carefully the question is, "Who IS A (aka ib tug) role model..." Even #3 said she could not pick ONE. Her and #5 are great listeners. Amen! Good job to all the lovely contestants! You girls are all WINNERS!

#5 luv hawj answer was so bad. go back and watch again. all I hear luv just talk about her dad only. what wrong with her mom? mostly in our life I see that all the girls is more closer to mom not dad. every one else answer-- mom and dad both are the qauv zoo rau lawv. but luv she did'n't said even 1 word about her mom. See! now luv show all the secret. Every one said that #3 maiv hawj vaj answer was more excellent than other for this round.

@hmooblisyeejhlub A role model means one person. Nothing is wrong with her naming her dad. It doesn't mean she doesn't value her mom. It means her dad is important and plays a big part in her life. #3's answer is generic and she didn't truly think about a role model, but just named important people overall in her life. A role model is someone who influences you and your choices in life. NOt necessarily who takes care of you and makes sure you stay out of trouble.

wow.. they all have really great answers. i love how they did an interview portion for the girls. they all spoke hmong really well too.. it proves through hmong pageantry that hmong people are not losing their culture and language after all. great job girls, keep it up..
