  • My plant is at least 2 years old and its much smaller and the branches are not that thick at all. My problem is that it produces long branches and it gets higher but I want it to have a more compact, bush like form. Any tipps someone?

  • How can you tell how old a blueberry plant is? I bought one at a nursery but I have no idea if it is 3 years old or not.. doesn't look as big as that one in your video.

  • That looks to be about a 5 year old plant. Perhaps it was a couple years old when it was planted. The wood that was lopped off was especially old

  • Very clear, thanks.

Now, why wouldn't you prune away ALL of the old, dead growth?

  • Can you take that cutting and replant it to make a new blue berry plant?

  • 3 years old from seed??? That's some pretty crazy growth for a 3 year old. I have a 2 year old ones that are only about 2ft tall and no where near that size.

  • Loved the video!
