  • Very, very good. It's humourous, yet not over the top and tells the story in ten minuets without any speech. Brilliant! I loved the little daleks that popped up occasionally and the way the oven was a droid. The meerkat on top of it was particularly funny. Absolutely fantastic!

  • Thanks very much, glad you enjoyed it.

  • A jawa with a hot dog. AWESOME.

  • @RAFFilmsLtd OK. Meerkat on the stove. AWESOMER.

  • WOW hahaha this is very funny haha and you had all those dolls allready or did you buy them all for making this funny movie??? Great Job :D

  • I already had them

  • Very good and funny. I'll have to watch the others.

  • vader is eating burger at 2:36

  • Reall great. Love the comedy you added. :)

  • Awesome vid i bet it took a long time

  • @101Anakin1 Thanks for the post on my channel! My Star Wars stop-motion begins shooting tomorrow morning and will be publicly released on December 3. I can't wait for yours to get in gear; I'll keep look out for some figures on sale.

  • If I'm the highest bidder on a set of vintage figures with the Vader display case, then I'll make a 25 min. series, with 15 episodes a season, and episodes 5-10 being,"The Mysteries of the Force" episodes. The series will take place between Episodes IV and V of Star Wars.I'll bid on sunday the last few min. it goes of.I wanted to know what would be the best choice of software to buy ,and some stop motion techniques?

  • If you've never done stop motion before, you really need to try it before you commit to such a massive amount of work. I use Windows Movie maker (free software). As for techniques, keep it running smoothly, not blurry and don't rush it.

  • @paulrowley1969 I have a regular hd camcorder and a still mode on it.A guy on youtube told me all I needed was to take still shots and a program would edit the shots together for me.Is that the best way to do it?I don't know if they still make stop motion cameras anywhere anymore.I have windows movie maker and it's simple to work.I didn't know you could do stop motion on it.Although I do know sometimes it's hard to add music in windows movie maker. Thanks!

  • You'll need something to convert still pictures to avi files - for that I use Monkey Jam (free). Presume you already have a tripod ?

  • @paulrowley1969 Yeah I downloaded monkey jam.I don't have a tripod but I can buy a good one for pretty cheap at wal-mart.Thanks again for your help!On e-bay some guys have got it up to high while others have waited until the last few seconds before I can bid anymore.I need to find buy it now figures.

  • @paulrowley1969 What adobe program were you talking about?Adobe After Affects?I mean for the lightsabers and laser blasts.

  • I use Adobe Photodelux and add the sabres on a frame at a time. Should be easier with After Effects though.

  • What site did you print out your sets at;Like the blockade runner?

  • Just search for whatever background you need via google images.

  • @101Anakin1 All I can say is be patient. It took me about 2 weeks before finding mine. Don't be tricked by "high" looking prices. If its $60, thats still $5 a figure, which is incredibly low, especially for a vintage lot. I recommend looking out for "Buy It Now" products, where theres no competition. If you want a specific key-phrase to search, "star wars vintage figures" should do just fine. Other than that, I just wish you luck in getting the figures.

  • @juneradar Thanks!I'm still at it.Haven't given up yet and don't intend to.Wish you luck on your project too and like to see it when completed!

  • How did you get lightsabers and laser bolts in there?

  • Lots of frame by frame alterations in an Adobe program

  • @paulrowley1969 Where can I buy or get a free trial of that at?

  • If you google reallusion crazy talk it is the first link

  • @paulrowley1969 Thanks!Hopefully I'll be able to find a set of 1977 star wars action figures.

  • Where do you buy crazy talk 5 at?Can you also add the voice track from the movies? Thanks!

  • Go to reallusion's website ( it won't let me paste a url here )

You can add any audio you have to Crazy Talk.

  • @101Anakin1 Wow, thanks for your interest! I hope I too could compete in such a contest. Yes, maybe next year. I hope you win that bid!

  • Good luck, let me know when you have your film completed

  • @paulrowley1969 I've had bad luck and more on searching on e-bay so I'd like to know maybe another place to buy a set of vintage 1977 star wars figures. Thanks! Were they the only ones where the heads moved as well as the arms and legs?

  • There are thousands of Star Wars vintage action figures on ebay right now ?

  • @paulrowley1969 There are some early bird sets and also some sets with the case.I'm looking specificly for the 1977 line though.I don't want a case full of 90 figures without knowing which ones are duplicates and if they have all the main characters.

  • @juneradar Didn't win because a dude got it up to high.Last night another early bird kit I bidded on,a dude and I had a bidding war and I got on 1 minute before it went off and before I could bid $43 the last second went off!Clever trick! That was two chances, what a blow!I have looked in the evenings about an hour a night searching on e-bay but not much luck.Do you know of any other places where I can buy the original vintage star wars 12 figures? Thanks!

  • For a 5 minute scene how long would it take?If I can't enter this year maybe next year in the fan competition.

  • Well it would take me a month for a 5 minute film, working on it a few hours a day. All depends on how many sets you are going to make, how long it takes to make them, how many frames per second you are going to have to photograph.... all kinds of factors involved in making a film

  • Very good articulation!

  • How can I buy figures that the heads move?Did the '77 line of Star Wars figures fully move? Thanks!I'd also to like to know where I can get a good deal on figures like a lot of them for $50 or under? They have a 5 minute short film contest on starwars.com and june 6 is the deadline and I'd like to re-create the attack on the death star scene. Thanks!

  • The 77 line had 4 points of articulation - head, arms and legs. Ebay I guess would be your best bet for loose figures, depends on what condition you want for your money though. I made the finalists with my version of Empire Strikes Back last year on the SW contest, didn't win but George Lucas actually watched my movie.

  • @paulrowley1969 Thanks I'll try e-bay.I have a '78 Darth Vader TIE Fighter but will need to find on e-bay X-wing Y-wing and millinium falcon.Since it's a 5 minute limit I'll probably do The Battle of Yavin.Since there are up to 5 music cues and each will be up to 59 seconds long, where can I find Star Wars Music.I mean how do I add it in there also. Thanks!I guess stop motion pro will be my best bet on software.I'll probably get a free trial of it.

  • I've never used Stop Motion Pro sorry, but you'll need to buy the soundtrack cd's or the mp3s. 5 minutes of good stop motion will take some time to make though.

  • @paulrowley1969 Yeah I could buy the download.I looked on e-bay found a good deal on figures but don't know where to find the x-wing/y-wing/Imperial TIE/Millinium Falcon.E-bay didn't have much for vehicles.I do have a '78 Darth Vader TIE I bought a month or two ago. Thanks!

  • Nice touch with the Avatar Jake Sully figure wheeling around Mos Eisley.

  • aweeeeeeeesoooooooooooomeeee dude u rock please make more

  • @paulrowley1969 I recently acquired the 12 original New Hope figures from ebay (one 1995 repro). They'll be the stars in a Star Wars stop motion picture I'll be making this summer (to avoid school distractions). Hopefully I could have you watch it when its complete. Great work here.

  • Sure, send me the link when you've made it and I'll take a look, thanks.

  • @juneradar COOL,DUDE!I've never worked with stop motion but I'm the highest bidder on e-bay, on 12 1977 figures with the stand. It goes off tonight and I'll probably end up getting it.They announced the star wars fan competition 3 weeks prior to June 6 which is when it goes off.I'll work in the summer also on an Episode IV figure adaption.Maybe next year I'll be prepared to send something to the fan competition. It's on starwars.com.I'd like to see your video too, once completed!

  • Are any figures vintage?

  • Don't think I had any vintage Star Wars in there, but there are older figures from other lines.

  • where darth vader comes and throughout, how did you make the set or background?

  • The backgrounds were from one of the SW sites offering custom backgrounds to print out.

  • Hahaha! I love the walking stove!

  • Fantastic movie, Great job with the sets and animation.. What software did you use to make their mouths move? Cheers..

  • Many thanks, the software I used was called Crazy Talk 5. Works well if used just a few times in a movie.

  • 2:02 was that jawa holding a hot dog?

  • Ace Frehley flying an X wing? Your collection is as extensive as mine! I love the use of the food items( Jawa with hot dog) . My videos are similar to yours. Keep up the good work!

  • We certainly have a lot of the same stuff. Your sets are way bigger than mine though. You must get serious back ache reaching over to animate figures in the middle of a large set ?

  • Thanks David!

  • awesome.. was c-3po holding a witch pez holder? lol
