I heard Roy Clark sing the words to this years ago altho Jim Reeves' lyrics are different from his. Roy sang "Hold me in your arms dear, dream with me. Cradled by your kisses tenderly. Heaven wrote the music from above - to our melody of love. If you ever want to chime in yourself, recite Elizabeth Barrett Browning's sonnet to this melody. It just works perfectly once you get the right rythm to your recitation. Thank you for posting this lovely tune. - Paula

@PaulinaRena I am commenting again here on my old posting name. "Sonnets of the Portugese" is where "How Do I Love Thee" came from by Mrs. Browning. A now deceased disc jockey here did her recitation to this beautiful tune in a contest among disc jockeys many years ago and his very warm smooth voice was so romantic and gave this lovely tune just the right sound. His version came in in the top 10 out of hundreds of entries. Even now, I recite her poetry to this tune myself. - Paula
