I'm still looking for the (original?) Easter Creme Egg commercial, with the roller skaters and the jingle about, "Easter's comin', bringin' a treat...".
Also, to all you Canadians, what product was advertised during Hockey Night in Canada, with a character named 'Armbruster', and a punchline about no one being sure where the boss of the company is now--"We're not quite sure...". (He's dead, with his portrait hanging on the wall). Was it something for Canon or Xerox copiers...?
OMG!! I haven't thought of this in years! As 12 year old's in Toronto, because of this commercial, we used to go around shouting "Mona Hold it" (there was a "dirty" hand jesture done as we yelled it) ah, I think you get the idea... :) god, what sticks in our minds after decades continues to amaze me.
Man, I never forgot this commercial! But I misunderstood it - I thought that Da Vinci's ultimate goal was using the diagram and machine to get Mona to smile somehow; and the Caramilk secret didn't enter into it at all. (What did I know? I was only 6!)
I loved this commercial. But my favorite was the one with the two business men in a bidding war for the Caramilk secret from the devil. Anyone know where I can find that one?
Wow. I actually remember this one.

This is one of the very few advertisements that stayed in rotation for over 10 years.

This commercial is better than 90% of actual television series made in North America today.

Wow, I remember that ad, and had no idea it was so old. It aired (at least in French) for many years (well into the 80s).
