you don't have a clue about ethanol. and don't understand it's efficiency. with raised compression, or a turbo running high boost a 4 cylinder car could have more power and better gas millage than a V8. pump gas won't allow you to run high compression or high boost. I doubt you even no how ethanol is made or you wouldn't have made such farfetched clams.

David Blume can make Ethanol for $0.50/gal from donuts and waste wood. Google "Alcohol can be a gas" Build your own still at home and make your own fuel.

What has always confounded me is how such relatively small groups can cause a country the size and influence of the United States to make such stunningly BAD decisions from a science standpoint.

Yet another side effect of not taking science education seriously in this country.
