  • It always amuses me how people on TV and in movies who plant bombs to cause death and destruction are kind enough to leave you warning notes.

  • just heard that 16 episodes centered around and including the bomb blast plus the very first episodes in black and white are being realeased on DVD to coincide with the 40th Anniversary next year

  • was the bomb real or just acting?

  • This episode scared the shit out of me back in 1976 or whenever it was. I do remember being in primary school at the time. It traumatised me for weeks!

  • @ritasid yes me too! i kept checking under my bed for bombs for weeks...

  • Lol, 20 years later Melrose Place completely knocked this plotline off. Hahaha.

  • can't believe I bawled my eyes out when this episode was shown

  • Bad acting. Les didn't even give himself time to read the note properly................CUT!!!!

  • @lilynick1Gordon MacDougall should have won an Oscar! It doesn't take too long to read "Dear Mrs Cameron Bomb in Number 96 will blow at 6 pm" It wasn't the first bomb scare in the storyline they had a similar note the week-or-so before.

  • @zaniac100 No I still dont think he allows time to read the note and digest what it says...

  • As with "the clones", back from Pleasures and back to tele with Arnold Feather and the very strange No.96. Sydney, in those days, was 16c a litre petrol and 20k houses...dream of a revolution! And Kevin (brains) 07 wants to bring in a squillion more people we can't provide sewage or water for!...at least, in those days, we could drink beer and there weren't enough of us to cause a stink!

  • We used to watch this incredible show when returning late from gigs when it was on repeat screenings very late...great, great memories! Thanks for these

  • I remember watching a clip of this episode at the Powerhouse museum. I think that the last long chord from "A Day In The Life" by The Beatles played over the credits.

  • this is like a 70s aussie version of 24! rivetting and hilarious!!!

  • yes... 96 is FOUR TIMES better than 24!

  • Rofl...

  • LOL that's genious!
