  • Blender has fracture in it?!! Where?!!

  • @WisenedGnome ow my god Blender fans can't read.. it is made in maya.. Blender does't have a full control pyshx or Cuda system.. build in for shatter effects that's why it's called Blender it's carbage..

  • @WisenedGnome actually ,this is maya. But there is a fracture script for blender, in the newest version it has inbuild fracture, and phymec is making his own script.

  • now make it for 3d glasses

  • -Ther it is, the mighty B, Fire missle!

    - we have none sir

-ummmmmmm... what about cylinders, have any of them?

    -ahhhhh yeah, one sir

    -Then FIRE! CYLINDER!!!

  • This video has been brought to you by the letter B

  • "This video is sponsored by the letter B" "But I hate the letter B!" *throws cylinder*

  • @GeekingForJesus

    Your comment made my day.

  • @HaxorWolf Ha ha ha! It made my day too. I completely forgot about this comment.

  • what about this b

  • Cinema 4d am i correct? You really have captured a unique, realistic effect to it mate

  • @STOMPaH11 I do believe you have not read the description, or anything in the video, for that matter.

  • @HeyLookItsASpah Obviously my friend, i do not understand the description. I want to be suer of what the program is called thankyou. And pardon me, but what's it to you?

  • @STOMPaH11 Hey look, I don't want to start a flame-war, I'm just pointing out the fact that it says at the very beginning of the video, it clearly states that he used maya+the dynamica plugin. It also says it again 3 times in the description, "davegreenwood's Python script for MAYA", "MAYA + Disney's Dynamica", and "bullet physics for MAYA"

I hope that's cleared some things up for you ;)

  • @HeyLookItsASpah If you dont want a flame-war mate, dont appear to be trying to make one. Im just saying. And buddy, I understand some form of program called MAYA was used, but havent you realised its abit hard to know eactly what MAYA is if you've never heard of it before?I was pretty convinced he used a program called Bullet Physics. Thats how i read it. And yes, it says MAYA many times, But have you noticed it says "Bullet physics *FOR" MAYA. I thoughtMAYA was a person or a company? dont bite

  • @STOMPaH11 *ahem* Fuck this, just go here:

    usaDOTautodeskDOTcom/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=15368289&siteID=123112&mktvar001=169404&mktvar002=169404

    Good day, sir.

    Replace dots w/ a perieod (.)

  • @HeyLookItsASpah Link invalid.

    Ta

  • @STOMPaH11 Whoops.

    Try this one: AutodeskDOTcom/Maya

  • @STOMPaH11 Maya is a 3D software program used mostly for animation it is produced by a company called Autodesk and unless you want to spend thousands on it then I would go for Blender which is a free program. Also, there are several Level Editors for PC games which can be helpful if you are trying to get your feet wet in the 3D world. However, if you want the best you need 3Ds Max, Maya, and the Adobe Creative suites. To find these programs just do a simple word search in your browser.

  • @danewheeler I have Maya now. I also have 3ds max and cinema 4d and all that. Thanks

  • Too Cool! Awesome work!

  • confetti!

  • This is just EPIC!!! Tutorial please!!! :D

  • very nice

  • Diooooooss!!! que buen trabajooo!! Te Felicitoo!!!

  • Awesome!

  • atis prolly gonna be usin this on hardware in a few years

  • Seems like both of the objects just explode rather than breaking :/

  • @VideoKalanag4: They are super rigid like concrete or glass, not softer like wood or plastic, and so shatter very easily.

  • can you make a tutorial?

  • Nice work, would love to see some motion blur.

  • Awesome !

  • very cool. Nice choice of color as well. I like how the materials core is different than its paint job, and the camera angle is clever.

  • woah youtube changed its layout completely!!! nice video tho

  • Poor B :(

  • 6,666 views xD

While I'm at it, great video!

  • can that be simulated in real time

    or was it pre-rendered?

  • please make tut, i loved it!

  • I set my resititution and mass to 0 on all my shards rb so that they stay in one place. then i animate an active rb sphere using dynamica to fly through my box and it goes right through... nothing breaks?

  • Hey, how do you make it not break until the ball hits it? I simulate my box and it breaks at the start.

  • When you create the shatter, Maya puts a new "shatter" attribute on your original geometry. You can switch it on and off. Keep it off until the frame before the collision, then key it on.
