You can say this is still rage, but with Chris Cornell as the lead singer it's hard for me to hear anything but Soundgarden, but then maybe that's because I'm a bit older and was just getting into music when the Seattle bands started getting air time on the radio. I mix my playlists of audioslave and soundgarden together and don't notice a huge difference.

Please understand that I am a fan of Audioslave big time. I love the music, but the guitar solos are weak. You can do a lot with effects pedals-to a point. After that, you need a little music theory and skill. A band called Lunaractive had a guitar player from Coos Bay named Brandon Sause that would put this guy to shame. Love the song, but the guitar solos kill me!

Zentah, my friends are people like Jay Roberts (Howard Roberts-Gibson Fusion-like Roberts) who has won the Jimi Hendrick's award in Seattle while Tom Morello played in Seattle. Needless to say, after seeing Eric Johnson, Satch, Al di Meola, John McLuaghlin and John Schoefield live a few times, I still say the solos are weak. Tom obviously does not have good knowledge of music theory.
