  • I wouldn't want this hater flying my plane. Bad karma on this guy

  • You know i see both sides..... as a pilot I dont think its the airlines job to hire marry able crews just for us to pick from...... but at the same time we as pilots go through hell qualifying and I dare say there aren't many fat pilots..... were is the outrage there, simple there isnt,

  • i think who ever make this video is a very racist and stupid, fa are not to pilot eye candy, second airplanes are not a place to look for a wife or husband, third you said that the pilot was not angry with the fa I quote " i dont give a fuck i hate 100% all their asses" next time listen a little better. dont defend them because there is no excuse for him to talk like that i dont hate pilots how ever i think what he did was very inappropriate comments specially at work.

  • @CHOULIN22 Racist? Where did "race" ever enter the picture? 2. Why aren't airplanes a place to find a spouse? So many people find their spouses amongst their coworkers. Why not pilots/stewardesses? 3. That's right. The pilot is not in reality angry with the flight attendants. He's angry with management. It's called "projection". A common psychological way people misdirect the reaction to their fears. 4. I agree his speech was inappropriate.

  • @ Supergolfing1 First, I'm really hoping you're as good at golf as your handle suggests. Your spelling and grammar are both terrible. That being said, many pilots started their careers as flight instructors. We have to learn all about psychological defense mechanisms and pass an FAA test on it. Oh yes, the captain's projection of anger onto the closest source of this issue is a CLASSIC subconscious defense mechanism which he didn't even pick up. It's his failure to identify that which really tr

  • @ tion19551 Although I'm sure it's possible, I'm certain we can keep from doing both at the same time. LoL!! And again, this has far more to do with our long term lives than instant gratification.

  • your paid to fly not fuck!

  • dude you didnt sale it, nice attempt though, I dont condone being gay, but you said he wasnt angry with gay older etc... right? so at about 107 who was he talking about that he hated 100% of their ___ and in context kinda like as well with the flow of his dialogue wouldnt you agree? I guess soldiers need female models to be drill instructors because for the majority of the time that as all they will see, grow up.

  • @SuperGolfing1 you dont have to condone to be gay there is nothing wrong is not of your business who people want to sleep with. people need to mind their own business and let others be who they want to be.

  • This damn country. What good are unions if I lose my sex slaves....so is that a recent photo of Mexican airline attendants?

  • Well said and I'm a gay american...

  • @MrAlottolose Thanks for, first, accepting our (and it should be all pilot's) apology. And second, thanks for seeing that this pilot was acting on fear, not any kind of hatred for the group he slurred. Really a shame and a disservice to our occupation.

  • wow, i agree with this 100% and couldn't have said it better myself.

  • I'm funny and I found this gay!

  • @cumesoftware "Nope" Doesn't make any argument from your position. Want to talk to a Ryan Air pilot and ask how little he makes and then ask him if pilot pay is on the decline in Europe?

  • @cumesoftware Okay Mr. Know-it-all. Talk to me about LTU/Air Berlin? Wny do they charge half as much for a ticket from Munich to Berlin as Lufthansa?? DEREGULATION! And I'll tell you one more thing, NEVER argue with the man that controls the microphone. Your logic is obviously flawed. YOU should introspect more, analyze and study.

  • @cumesoftware See my other 3 videos. They go into much more chronic economic issues at the airlines in the USA. Speaking of airlines in Europe; they still concentrate on hiring straight women. Thus you don't get complaints from European pilots. European airlines do pay more, but they are going through their own deregulation and low-cost-carrier market penetration. Pay for EU pilots is already declining. I wish it wouldn't be that way. I would have left to fly for Lufthansa a long time ago.

  • @cumesoftware There are far worse occupations in the USA FOR PEOPLE WITH LESS EDUCATION, HAVE RISKED LESS AND HAVE LESS STUDENT LOAN DEBT. GOD!!!! GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS!!!

  • I can't believe this jackass is trying to justify this! As if it's a flight attendants job to be eye candy and a potential dating pool for the pilots. What vial, misogynistic sexist, homophobic, bullshit. If you want to meet women, go to a bar, or log onto harmony and stop expecting your airline to provide you with a dating pool. Ridiculous! I do agree with part about pensions, pay cuts and furloughs though.

  • @JustPlaneNuts What am I trying to "justify". Am I trying to justify his anger at new age flight attendant staff? Or am I justifying his anger at the vanished MARRIAGE POOL and managements decisions. First off, you write as if you've been taking cuss-like-a-sailor classes from our SW captain. Secondly, you write as if you didn't even watch the video. I agree. What the Captain said was homophobic. But I'm not defending his slurs. I'm defending his anger. All marriages begin with a first date.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle I love your Ad hominem attack based on the fact that I used the word bullshit as if it discredits everything else I said. You're still basically saying that it's somehow the airlines job to screen flight attendant applicants to provide a dating pool for the male pilots. A flight attendants job is A safety, and B to to provide costumer service to the passengers. Airlines should select applicants who they believe will best fit this roll....

  • @JustPlaneNuts When you have to swear in order to explain your side of an argument, I don't think I need to do any further discrediting. I think we've learned that lesson. Break. There ya go again. "Dating pool". Okay I'm cool with that. Dating leads to marriage, so I'll just continue to call it a "Marriage Pool".

  • @TheWashingtonEagle I've flown with guys who's wives are flight attendants and thats great. All I'm saying is that its silly and offensive for pilots to expect the airline to hire potential wives for them. In just about any other career field you would be laughed out of the room. It may well be that that was how things worked 30 years ago; but that was wrong and oppressive. You guys have been watching to many episodes of 'Pan Am'.

  • @JustPlaneNuts "in just about any other career field" the eligible women have not be replaced with an ocean of gay men. What's more, what do you think about Hooters? Are they hiring gay men? Or older women? Or fat women? Nope. Is that "wrong and oppressive"? Possibly. But the company hasn't allowed special interests to shape their business. They've defended every civil rights law suite leveled against them...because they have the guys to do it, and do it successfully.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle I think most flight attendants would find your comparison to Hooters girls to be incredibly demeaning. I'm not going to defend the validity of Hooters suffice to say it it's as much about entertainment as it is food. Airlines are in the business of safe transportation. I don't think it's unreasonable for any person regardless of age gender, race, or sexual identity to expect to be able to have a career is a flight attendant.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle AirHooters maybe? PetAir seems to be getting a lot of business. Ii feel like that is a great idea. Now I just need a way to get in contact with Richard Branson.

  • @MingMeMingMe Believe it or not, by chance, I spoke with a Hooters brass at an airshow 6 years ago. I asked him how, when Hooter's Air was operating, that they were able to get around the equal rights laws destroying the pilot's marriage pool today. "Easy." he said, "You first had to be a Hooter's waitress at a restaurant to get promoted to Hooter's Airline flight attendant." Theme based! I think Delta, SW, etc. need to open "pretty girl" themed restaurants. Problem solved!

  • @TheWashingtonEagle Here is another thought for you. There are a growing number of female pilots in this industry. Would it be fair to expect that the the airline hire lots of attractive straight male pilots and flight attendants for them to date and marry? In an industry where the entry level pay can be under $20k and pension can be gone in an instant we should be fighting those battles, instead of making ourselves look stupid and bigoted complaining about the flight attendants.

  • @JustPlaneNuts To answer your question about the concerns of low pay, lost pensions etc. Please see my other videos. They answer that question. That being said, yes, I think hot guys (so to speak) should be hired for the female pilots too. How would they like it if they were surrounded by a bunch of lesbians at work. Oh wait a minute. Female pilots might be happy about it. But that's another story all together with.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle Wow, you're a complete moron. This a profession, not a porn set. The concern of your job is to transport passengers safely. You wanna cry about being isolated? Try working in the mines and then come back and vent about being isolated. If you want to find a mate, try a dating site, or better yet, rid yourself of your shallow persona.

  • @Alwayzsmilin said, "Try working in the mines and then come back and vent about being isolated." Mines?? I'm sorry, we didn't finance 6 years of higher education to work in a mine. We've earned faaaaar more than that. It's a simple equation of sacrifice/reward. And, I'll make the same point to you that I make to everyone else about dating sites, "Have you seen the busted women on dating sites??" Sorry, the only women you'll find on them are ... flight attendants.

  • @Alwayzsmilin said, "...rid yourself of your shallow persona." So, what's shallow about this persona? Oh this should be good. Careful how you answer.

  • @Alwayzsmilin said, "This a profession, not a porn set." I'm sorry, would you call the flight attendants of the 1950's, 60's and 70's porn stars? Please tell me of one airline accident that occurred because the flight attendants were pretty?? You're so dramatic.

  • @JustPlaneNuts I see. So you're condoning frequenting of bars by pilots, are you? I have two uncles at major airlines. They BOTH met their wives amongst the flight attendant staff years ago. Because they were THERE. By the way. Have you looked at the busted women on e-harmony or any "dating site"? You must be joking. The women that are there, are there for a reason. They have problems meeting men. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this is where many female flight attendants can be found.

  • Good point. But what happens to that woman who gets into "granny" category?

  • oh i get what u mean,, lol

  • i like that ur agreeing with him but i dislike that u dont find it hard to dislike homosexual MALES.. i wouldn't want to deal with queers all day either..

  • @joshfroh Well. You could have stuck to "homosexual". No need to whip out the "Q" word. That being said, I have a very select few close gay friends. I even reviewed this video with them before publishing it. I've had to be very careful with which ones I'll allow into my life since many of them "can't handle it." I find them very friendly, funny and infinitely creative. They're sincerely great people, but I'm not very happy when they displace where I was supposed to find my wife.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle \

what do u mean by "but I'm not very happy when they displace where I was supposed to find my wife."

lol and no i dont hate em all.. ive known a few "homosexual" guys theres hilarious.. but i can't be to good of friends with any of them ,, we have nothing much in common but i do understand where ur coming from .

  • @joshfroh "when they displace where I was supposed to find my wife." In other words, when they flood the industry of flight attendant. I agreed though. Unless you have issues with your own sexuality (and I know you don't) , it's hard to "hate" gay people.

  • This is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. If you want pussy, go to a bar, don't ask your employers to pay for pussy for you. I'd be watching out if i were you, there's an abundance of pilots and a lack of jobs.

    Jerk

  • @kingpav Okay soooooooo. Is there any point in which this pilot says "He's looking for "pussy"? You're a rather vulgar one. Perhaps you've been taking classes from this pilot?

  • @TheWashingtonEagle His whole rant is about not getting any pussy because the airline won't get any young, attractive, female cabin crew, he doesn't need to state it explicitly although he practically does. Don't try and pretend he isn't. Unless you're an 80 year old, catholic granny I wouldn't consider the term "pussy" vulgar especially when your'e video is defending someone swearing a few times.

  • @kingpav I'm defending his position and sentiment of anger, not his vulgarity. In fact, I even apologize for his slurs. Face it; if a Kim Kardashian walked into any single man's life, we'd all be married tomorrow. Single men ARE always looking for their wives. He says. "One of them (flight attendant) that was probably do-able." Being a man, I understand that he was saying she was, at most, barely sexually attractive. Not wife material. Sex is a part of any healthy romantic relationship.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle That doesn't matter, millions of men work in all male environments without any such issues, just because he thinks he's entitled to female company of his choice whilst in a place of work doesn't justify you defending him. Albeit 'positive discrimination' (which I detest), you still can't expect your employer to ensure you are satisfied with the pool of potential mates in your place of work. It really is that simple.

  • @kingpav How many of those "all male environments/jobs" keep you away from home for weeks out of every month? The trouble comes when most of us decided to do this for a living, it was understood that we would at least have a shot at finding a wife amongst our coworkers. Our de facto-families. Management doesn't care. They live in the same city day after day, week after week and year after year. They can see the same people whenever they want. Now, we pilots are stuck in a gay bar.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle Erm there's tonnes of jobs like that, weeks would be a luxury for some, try working at sea or on the oil rigs, mining, long distance driving, major civil engineering projects. I don't see why you think you're all so special you should be offered female staff to tickle your fancy at the customers expense. Ofcourse they aren't bothered about your sex lives, nor should they be. I'm not sure how long you have been in a workplace for but making claims like these is just silly.

  • @kingpav An occupation should present rewards commensurate with the level of sacrifice made get there. By the time we make it to the airlines, pilots have either served their country, as such, or spend over $100K and 6 years (including 2 years in flight school) in college to get there. I've had 2 friends and 1 acquaintance dye in flight training accidents. We all have friends who have perished in accidents prior to making it to the airlines. See my other video.

  • @kingpav You make a good point though. There are plenty of jobs where men are away from home for long periods of time, but most of them are "unskilled" labor. Dangerous indeed, but almost anyone could do them. I don't believe that the institution of marriage should be trivialized into an overly-simplifed term of "tickle-your-fancy" though. I agree, there are misogynists everywhere. This man could be one of them. But most of us pilots are looking for THEE ONE.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle I think you'll find there are just as many skilled jobs. Take youself off this self made pedestal and get real. Being a pilot is not the romantic job it was 30 years ago now it's nothing more prestigous than being a train driver. I've 3 close friends, all airline pilots, they don't have this warped idea of the business liek you do. You need to wake up... either your're fantasizing about being a pilot or you're a really stupid one. Either way there's cause for concern.

  • @kingpav You know what they say about arguing with the man who controls the microphone?

  • @kingpav Yeah. You didn't want to touch that argument about flight training deaths and our level of education and serving our country, did you? As usual on Youtube the one losing a debate has to resort to attempts at personal insults. I knew you would resort to that when you came in swearing like a SouthWest pilot. Sorry. The debate ends here. You've been blocked.

  • @kingpav I'd be careful with your facts too. Since 1980 domestic air travel in the US has doubled. International travel originating inside the USA has TRIPLED. Meanwhile the number of active Airline Transport Pilots (ATP's) has fallen in that same period from 184,000 to 142,000. Indeed it is the opposite picture which you paint. Nice try though.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle OK well you know best.

  • Are you kidding me? "The pilot is projecting his anger at management" ? He is angry because he can't get laid. Period! It is as simple as that!

  • @JAYJAYLAZ What gave you that idea? That he's angry that he "can't get laid."?

  • Well said... eloquent and to the point.
