  • Awesome review. I am seriously thinking of getting the Cold Steel OSS. It looks like a great knife for defensive-offensive use in close quarters. At 5'4", 62 years old, I need all the advantage I can get if it gets to close quarters. Hopefully, it will never get that close.

Thanks for the links. Always looking to learn something new.

P.S. Every time I watch one of your videos it costs me money. You are worst than my wife for my pocket.

  • If the second is a fighting blade.... what is the first? Sorry, but for me both fit the same purpose. A double edged blade has no use other than combat.

  • @alberez1957 - For me the Microtech is a nice investment, they are highly collectible. Although they can serve, if necessary.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives Agreed! I am much more on the traditional side of knives. The most "wild" knife I have is the Ontario SPEC-17 Quartermaster LOL. All of my knives are on the Bushcraft side. That's why I wouldn't find any use for something like the Microtech.

  • I think you were tagged by Bushcraftmyway...Great choice of knives btw

  • Sweet knives! A very good representation of two great knives. I don t have them myself, but I'm tempted. Silent RafterrS

  • Warcat?

  • @HareOfTheFrog - The fierce cry of the warcat can be heard, if you listen carefully.

  • you also own a ZT fixed blade

  • that microtech is nice. wish they had a folder like that

  • @jodavidable That would be sweet.

  • Wow, thanks Sensei, A shoutout from the Master Blaster of Steel.

  • @jmce3 You earned it!

  • true "bad ass" mofo are nice guys. the wonabe's are jurks !

  • @vladi420 Very true!

  • yo man you should do a video showing the sharpness of your blades destroy some watermelons or something with those knives, that would be so awesome.

  • cool knives, I have a question for you - do you carry fixed knives in your daily life (I mean except wild outdoor activities)

  • @LookieChannel I only carry a fixed blade if I'm going somewhere dangerous, like alone or night time. In that case I carry a 4.5 inch fixed blade in my pocket. Normally, I only carry a folder or two.

  • awesome knives love that Microtech

  • @bxsickness Thank you BX!

  • "He's a total bad-ass but also a really nice guy." Hmm....sounds familiar. *wink/grin* I love checking out new knife lover's channels so I will sub them both.

By the by, 511 has a great little new neck knife they are now offering. It's got a 4" Wharnincliff (sp?) style blade of AUS8 with a very comfortable G-10 handle. It was nothing to look at until I handled one at my local police supply store and just fell in love with it. Check one out if you can.

  • @MrSenset Thanks! I will check that out.

  • @WeAllJuggleKnives You're very welcome. It's called the "Wharn Surge". Let me know what you think about it. Have a good day.

  • That's a couple of nice blades! Thanks for sharing

  • ★★★★★

  • people have died from only 1.5 inches of penetration that went directly between the ribs and nicking the heart. so a long blade isn't necessary for deadlyness

  • @RazdrazChelloveck If you prefer a 1.5 inch fighting blade that's cool with me.

  • "Full tang into a glass breaker" ...or should I say SKULL BREAKER.

  • Nice choices and great shoutouts.

  • Sweet !

  • Great choices man! :)
